    I agree about Molly/Phyllis. If shane had more self respect she would run like the wind- but I'm not sure she hads that in her.

    I don't know: did you see the preview for next week? Shane tells Molly to get lost at the bc bike ride. I hope they don't screw this up for all those women that watch this program...Along with death - life can also be maintained with bc. More women need to know that!

    I want to know what Tasha is planning on doing next - now that she doesn't have the Army career? Wonder if she will go into Law Enforcement since she was an MP? That would be cool.....

    She went in the closet to get dressed. She was peeking out the closet door and heard everything that Molly said.

    Nature didn't call during this episode---

    At first I thought it was going to be boring, with the bike race,but the 2nd half of the show got better. Did you guys see the the previews for next week with Adele?????? I'm dying to know what her agenda is.

    ~ Jenny and Nicki--- WHY on earth would they tape their sex romp- particularly 2 people tied to the entertainment industry. That is just asking for trouble. I have never seen the attraction to the fake penis contraption-- not my idea of good lesbian sex.

    ~ FINALLY Jodi found out about Bette and Tina. I venture to guess that Bette wishes she found the courage to tell Jodi. I can't wait to see how that plays out.

    ~ Did anyone pick up on Alice's lack of enthusiasm for Tasha's (black) friends? They're such a cute couple I hope this doesn't become an issue for them.

    I can't believe we only  have 2 episodes left.  The show has yet to commit to a 6th season but my fingers and toes are crossed for it.

    Hi Amy,

    I actually thought the first half was good. The scene in the church with all the women that died from bc was very touching. I even cried during that piece and thought of my lovely Stacey.

    Jenny and Nicki - not sure about the whole thing.

    I suppose that this means that Bette and Tina will be getting back together and live as a family again.

    I just think Tasha is HOT!!! I love her laugh.

    I thought the church thing would have been good if it was more realistic. 1/2 way in the middle of the bike race there just happens to be, in the middle of nowhere, a tiny church/chapel with a memorial to bc survivors and the only people who happen to be in the chapel are the group? It would have been more realistic to have that at the beginning of the race and maybe a small area set up for a memorial,so it would at least make sense.

    Tasha is the hottest woman on the show hands down.

    What about Molly and Shane??? Do you think Molly is bi or gay or just fooling around?

    Showtime has ordered a sixth - and final - season of The L Word, to start production this summer for an early 2009 run. Versus previous 12- and 13-episode seasons, this final salvo will last just eight weeks, an abbreviated stretch yet sufficient to wrap up the groundbreaking series.

    "We are enormously proud of the legacy of The L Word," says Showtime president of entertainment Robert Greenblatt. "The title of the show became part of the lexicon, and the breadth and reach of the characters and storylines are a testament to the talent of Ilene Chaiken and her incredible cast."

    Actually when I did the 3 day/60 mile bc walk - the organization puts up displays like this throughout the walk for the walkers to remember as why they are there.  Along the path were rememberances and it was very touching.

    Molly and Shane - not sure what is going to happen there but I do think that Molly is going in the direction of self-discovery and perhaps she will continue to see Shane as her 1st love but not her last....

    Tasha - HANDS DOWN for sure. She just has that somethin' somethin'.

    Glad to hear that a 6th season will be happening but sad to hear that it will be the final one.....I think there is so much more that this show can still accomplish.

    Well, I totally agree about Tasha, though when she first came on the scene, I thought her friend, Popi, was amazingly hot! They never really explained her disappearance or the fact that she and Tasha are no longer friends, did they?

    Molly....I think she is just experimenting and Shane is gonna fall hard. Is that actress really Cybil Shepherd's daughter IRL? She looks so much like her!

    I really liked the bike race theme, but mostly because it got us out of the city, The Planet and the movie set. The bird sounds and scenery were refreshing (can you tell that I never get outdoors?)

    Here's what caught my ear in the previews....do you all remember Ivan? It sounds like s/he owned 51% of The Planet and will sell it to the SheBar owners, so they'll now own The Planet! Oh my!

    I did see that Ivan sold her share to the SheBar gals. That should make for an interesting cliff hanger for the final season.

    Maybe it is time that Shane got her heart broken so that she can see what she has done to other women who have fallen hard for her. Could be interesting to have Shane chase after Molly....

    Adele is suppose to reveal the tape of Jenny and Nicki together when they were in the tent. I wonder what she wants out of this. I think that Adele is from jenny's past somewhere and it will be revealed in the final episode....

    Didnt know there was a thread about the L word Love that show! I cant wait until next week! I think Adele wants to be Jenny so she is gonna ask to be the producer or something to that effect cause she has the infamous tape of Jenny and Nikki. I love Alice and Tasha an the whole military thing I think anybody should be able to serve there country an be with who they want to because believe it or not there are gays in the military! This episode to me was very touching had me in tears love the Breast Cancer tribute for Dana!

    I have a new theory about Adele. Maybe Adele isn't after Jenny, but Nicki-- trying to be the woman she thinks Nicki wants. Adele was the one who convinced Jenny to hire Nicki. Adele kissed Nicki. Adele went into the movie premiere to be with Nicki. Adele told Nicki to kiss the guy when she knew Jenny would see.

    I think Adele will be revealed as a serial stalker and that Adele is not her name. She will have a criminal record and/or psychiatric commitment record.

    I really enjoyed the episode.

    ~WTF was Bette thinking making out with Jodi. I dislike Jodi so much, who is she to talk about what Bette "owes" her. She's so controlling.

    ~I loved the Adele stuff-- so maybe it wasn't about being attracted to Nicki or Jenny, but about wanting the job. I have to say, I was glad to see Jenny fired and I thought Adele's direction was a lot better than Jenny's, even though Adele blackmailed her way into the job.

    ~Kit??? WTF was she going to kill that She-Bar couple and life would go back to being copacetic? When Angie held the gun I was sooo worried there would be a tragedy.

    ~ Rut ro about Alice and Tasha-- WTF was Alice thinking flirting with the designer? That pissed me off--- too much unfaithfulness of heart and/or action on that show. It looks like Alice might blow it next week-- she's another controlling one.

    I'm so bummed that next week is the season cliff hanger-- but at least there will be a season 6.

    I enjoyed this episode as well - much more about the women who are trying to make life right.

    I'm not sure about Adele - she did mention in the last episode that she had her eye on someone and I think it is Nicki. Time will tell.

    I hope Alice doesn't blow it with Tasha. Tasha is too hot!

    Well, the finale is certainly going to leave us wondering about everyone! Are Tina and Bette gonna make it this time? I doubt it, but I bet they'll give it a good run. Alice and Tasha? Hmmmmm....Alice seems to be getting alittle too big for her stilettos these days, what with being so outspoken on the show and then responding to the designer girl. She's always seemed like the monogamous type to me and its not clear what's bugging her and creating this uncharacteristic behavior.

    I was SO impressed with Shane's loyalty to Jenny! No matter how crappy & crazy Jenny has gotten and even to where all of us in the viewing audience were wishing she'd just disappear, Shane stayed loyal! She's such a sweet girl....just can't make that committment in the romantic arena.

    Kit is losing it, man! That was waaaaaay too insane! I think she needs to get her butt to a therapist or her AA sponsor....or the loony bin. Geeeeez. And yes, Amy, when Angie was playing with that gun, I was sure it would be a total disaster! As much as that would have been absolutely awful, it certainly would have added so much drama to a number of subplots, not the least of which would be the Tina-Bette equation!

    Can't wait for next week!

    I agree about being impressed with Shane's loyalty to Jenny. I also think it's interesting that Shane doesn't show the same loyalty to lovers.

    Does anyone else secretly like Adele even though you know you shouldn't?

    I never said I didn't like Adele ~ just thought that she was so shady!

    I hear that Helena will be back for the final season. I miss her ~ just when she was coming into her own and finally standing up to her mother, she leaves the show.

    Wonder if Max will continue to see Jodi's inter. since she is no longer with Bette?

    Sunday will be GOOD!

    I know you never said it pepper, I just feel a bit guilty for rooting for Adele over Jenny. I wonder if Jodi/Marlee Matlin will stay on the show.

    I don't think I was completely conscious of it and probably would have huffily denied it if "accused," but YES, I do have an attraction to Adele! It is probably a mix of respect for her going for what she wants and knows she can do well and a dislike for Jenny that makes me root for her. Huh....funny how "silly" things like TV shows can be so self-revealing!

    I'm glad to hear about Helena too. I hope that toughass convict she hooked up with in jail will be back too....she is HOT!

    Marin, maybe the reason I like Adele is in response to disliking Jenny-- I think you touched on something.

    I heard that Helena will be back with her jail-mate girlfriend. I also think that Adele will lose her spot as director. Tina will make sure that she doesn't have anything to do with it.

    Hopefully next season they will let us in on where Adele came from and what her background is ~ could be intereting.

    Can't wait to see Sunday's episode

    I thought the finale was a big disappointment. There were good parts, like Kit getting the diner back, Helena coming into her own, Bette and Tina in the end. I didn't like Jodi's art show, I hope she's not on next season. I was disappointed in Alice and felt bad for Tasha. This might be totally wrong, but I was glad Shane and Nicki hooked up-- since I don't like Jenny. I felt so bad for Shane when Phyllis showed her claws and admire how she sacrificed herself for Molly. My guess is that we won't see more of Adele next season.

    I thought it was pretty good - only because I really like Helena. Just realized that the character Molly is played by Cybil Shepard's real daughter Clementine. Way kool! No wonder they looks so alike. Duh

    Really hated Jodi's show - what was that all about?

    Shane was a disappointment...not sure why she scammed on Nicki - she didn't think about the consequences of what that would do to her friendship with Jenny.

    The rap party was a bust, but liked how the She-Bar was overtaken by Helena!

    I wasnt pleased at all with the finale I dunno it just kinda left a bad taste in my mouth! Im so sad that there is only one more season left Cry I always look forward to Sundays!

    So glad Bette an Tina are back together they are so cute.

    I cant believe Alice is gonna do that to Tasha! After all she gave up I mean I know she didnt have to but geez an Alice new love interest doesnt seem all that great!

    Adele well there are NO WORDS in all of man kind to say about her YUCK! Not enough cuss word combinations for her!

    Shane Shane Shane ..............................DISSAPPOINTMENT!

    Love Helena for coming back an SAVING the day woo hooo! But I know that She Bitch is gonna come back with something crazy

    I cant wait till Jan 09 to see how it ends.....
