The last two pics was today when I got stuck. The last pic is where I was shoveling the entrance to the back door. If you look closely , you can see how deep it is. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Well ladies another busy day around here.
Just got finished eating mushroom stroganoff (sp) and spinach!! It was VERY good. Thank God UB can cook or I would be in serious trouble!
Nancy -we had the same rain here - it was relentless all day. Where are you in NY? Had to go out for a b-day present for my soon to be 11 year old nephew and I got drenched! It's all about basketball this year so I went to Mo's. The party is tomorrow.
Sue - when are your son's b-days??? By the way, thanks for saving me a piece of pie.
When are you going to see your DAD??
Mel - I am SO thankful all this rain we are getting isn't snow!!! OMG we would have well over a foot by now if it were. I hope you and Lisa stay safe and warm.
Ulla - Tamoxifen is no picnic for me. I get terrible joint/bone pain. My oncky has switched me to Armidex (sp) because I am post menapousal and I hear that is even worse.
I hate bootface.
Sue - you better get to bed early tonight missy!!! I'm be checking in later to make sure.

Great pics Mel,
OMG the wind is whipping fierce outside - I feel like I'm in the opening scene from the Wizard of Oz........
-
Sue , you are too funny! I bet the boys enjoyed every morsel. On the serious side Sue , you have been eating alot of sweets lately and that can add to low moods too. Maybe try to get more natural sweets like fruit , honey , etc. I know how you feel. My onc asked me when my last period was. He asks me every time I see him. I guess he is asking if I might have gotten another one. But I haven't since Aug.. I'm not that bitchy , but I do get low sometimes. And my libido isn't what it use to be. But it hasn't been since I was dx. It really hit me hard emotionally in that area. Forced menopause isn't fun at all.
AE , yes it is still coming down. We have close to a couple of feet. Some parts of the state is at a level 4 emergency. They will actually ticket you if you are caught driving there right now. Oh hurry up spring!
Nancy , hope your daughter has fun. Kids are so funny. Are version of "dressed up" is so different from theirs sometimes.lol
-
Oh AE tell UB I am coming over for leftovers! Sounds sooo yummy!
-
ahhh Mel that is what I feel ...do you know I used to suffer severe pmt...not nasty moody but lowwwwwww kinda thing...with this menopause thing ... I do feel better mostly but ...I dont know...my body is telling my head there is something a miss
BOOTFACE WE FREAKING HATE YOUR FILTH !!!!
AE lol...I love those opening scenes in OZ ...you made be visualise them and it sent a shiver down my spine.....xxx I ache to be with you all xxx
David my eldest will be 14 on 25th Oct and Daniel will be 12 on 29th July ... Daniel needs for a growth spurt he is still in 8 yr old clothes ...maybe cos he was a premature twin...but it does bother me xxx
I am just gonna have a cuppa and go to bed...I have been crying for the last hour....being off work and having all this think time ...and out of routine has actually made me quite sick with stress....like a little hard to believe eh....
I love you all xxx

Thanks Sue. Ae , that was great thanks. I love lions and tigers. But they scare me. I guess I am like the cowardly lion!
-
Thankyou for the angel Melody. Its been a tough out of sorts 2 days...timed with a missing period so I am guessing its menopause ....or hormonal ....
Did you see AE video Mel ...it is beautiful....god I love animals xxx

Sue , are you going to get to spend time with your Dad while you are off? I hope so. I know you would make each other feel better.xx
-

Please have sweet dreams when you go xxx
I hope Lisa got home ok xxx
Much Love xxx
-
AE, I'm just over the border in Rockland County, near Nyack.
-
...thought I would let you all know...I made it home about 30 minutes ago!! What a day!!! They should have closed our airport!! Cleveland closed down!! No flights came in all day, and only 2 went out. The 2nd one was just heading to the de-icing pad, when I walked to my car. The wind was vicious! I cleared my car off...and drove home!! The roads were about the same as my drive in.
Glad to be home...off my feet, and away from disgruntled passengers!! Going to go relax.
Love to you all!
xoxo
Lisa
oh..Nancy....I wish our HS dances, were casual! All of the big dances are formal!! You would not believe how many long formal gowns I have bought over the years!! Closet full!!
-
I'm so glad you made it home, Lisa. I can't believe the photos Mel posted. Is this at all normal for you guys this time of year? It's crazy! It was in the 50's and mostly sunny here today. I weeded the flower bed. The birdies are chirping in the trees. Aaahhh! I'm so ready for spring. Sorry that you're still in full blown winter.
The pie looked delish, Sue! I'm really going to have to make one. Only one slice for me though (trust me, the rest of the vultures around here will finish it off). I'm seriously trying to cut down on sweets.
Hugs to you all,
Karen
-
Oh Sue , for some reason , I thought your boys were younger than that.
-
Good morning to my wonderful sisters!!
The sun is shining here. We are on daylight savings time here in Ohio, so we had to turn our clocks ahead an hour...lost an hour of sleep!! It is really cold out..about 19 with a windchill much colder than that. The snow has stopped...and the sun is bright...so it really looks beautiful out there! I took some pics on my cell...I would download them to my photo bucket...but I still can't log onto it. It keeps asking for cookies...and I am not sure how to take care of that! When I do figure it out..or have Olivia do it...I will post the mountains of snow!! We probably got at least 15 inches. I think where Mel is, she probably got more than that. Some area's...actually just 25 min north of me where my grandson lives..they got over 21 inches!!
No...this is not really normal weather for us in March. We can have some snow this time of year, actually sometimes we even have snow in early April. But this is unusual. I wish I could shovel....I so want to do something physical....I AM TIRED OF BEING INACTIVE!!!!!!!!!!!! I see my ps on the 20 or the 22nd...so we will see if he allows me to do anything "new" then. I hope so!
Sue...that pie looks or should I say..."looked"..haha...like heaven. I love all the ingredients...especially caramel!! Yumm!!
I do hope you are enjoying your time off of work Sue. It's ok, not to be busy...but I know how you are, and I am the same way...it makes you a bit stir crazy...and get's you thinking, then before you know it...depression. That is where I am now. I think getting back to work for me has helped a little bit. Enjoy the boys honey...I hope you see your Dad too.
My dad should be back from California. He went out to see my youngest sister, who had the baby in January. I am sure he ran into trouble getting home, since so many flights inbound and outbound were cancelled. I look forward to seeing him and hearing all about my new nephew. My youngest sister is 43, and this is her first baby!! I am from a family of 7 kids! I am right in the middle....haha..poor middle child..just kidding.
Well...going to enjoy my Sunday paper, coffee and some hot oatmeal...I will check in to see how you are all doing today.
Love to all....Shirlann, Mel, Sue, Ulla, Karen, Jane, Sheila, Valerie, Lucy,Wren, Mia, and our new comer..Nancy. I know I missed someone...sorry...u know I love you all!
Oh...thanks Mel for the pics.....they were great...what a storm..eh?!
xoxo

I got my photo bucket working...going to try and download a few pics I took this morning.
This is looking out from my garage door.
this pic was taken from my 2nd story bathroom window! The roof below my window is a slanted one with skylights...and this is how high the snow was piled on it!! Couldn hardly see out the window!!
-
a few more.....
looking out over my buried deck!
looking out from my front porch...it's a little difficult to see how high it is on the side of the street..but it is!
-
Now that I have photobucket working...I can post a pic I took of Olivia from the day of filming the commercial.
This is of her and the Cavalier's, Cleveland basketball team's mascot..his name is Moondog!
Btw...she hated those high waisted pants she had to wear!! haha.
xoxo
Lisa
-
I am all alone here this morning....wake up sleepy heads...lol. Well...for some of you...it's late afternoon!!
Here is a pic of what I am hoping comes very, very soon!!
-
I'm hanging around. I made myself do some housework this morning before I let myself come on the board. Just folded about six baskets of laundry.
Bright and sunny, and DST has started here, too. It will be nice to have the extra light in the evening. For some reason, when I come home after work and it's dark, you can hardly get me out again. But when it's light—same time—there's no problem. That must be something instinctual in us.
