I hope that Luke and Danny will be the ones to leave tonight ... I really liked Carly, Amanda and Brooke last night ... I was not impressed with Aisia, Ramielle or #8 in the photo NbN posted above ... can't remember her name .. but agree... she should have gone home last week instead of Alaina.
So... I'm hoping that #8 and Aisia are the ones to leave tonight ...
such suspense....
the judges were very goofy last night ... I love simon because he does keep it real ... but sometimes he's just so darn blunt...

Hello everyone,
All I can say is freeking thank goodness that Danny is gone. His voice was really pretty good but enough of his antics. Not too much of a surprise with who got voted off tonight, I was 4 for 4 on this week, now it starts to get harder to see them go.
Kady really couldn't sing at all, I think she made it to Hollywood on her looks (very pretty girl). Gotta give her credit for being able to sing her last song. Asia was so cute, and she actually sounded great tonight, but it was only a matter of time before she was going home, too many other talented ladies there. Can't wait til next week. Talk to you all soon, take care... Until next week....

Ok, so far I'm 2 for 2. I project the other two will be Kristy Lee and I'm hoping Danny.
-
I think the right people went home. This season of Idol is going to be really good. All the ones left are very unique and fun to watch.
-
I agree with you Jas but would have liked to have seen either Ramielle or Kristy Lee leave before Aisia ... but you're right KLynn, I think Aisia would have gone eventually. I think 'Ezy' was pretty surprised he made it!
-
Angel/Charlene: I am w/ you. Let the show now begin!
-
Hey Ladies ,
Its Idol night ,, the top 12 are finally here. Hope they can give each other a good chase, time for everyone to step up and try and take the audience over. Talk to you all later, Hugs KLynn

I can't wait!!!!!

I can't wait!!!!!

I missed last night's show. Who was good and who is going home??
-
"Ezie" really did a good job last night! I was surprised, he's always been so subdued.
Of course, Carly did great.David Cook did a really good job, and for the record, I take back what I say about him being snotty. He admitted he was disrespectful to Simon in the TV Guide interview. That was way cool of him.
I simply LOVE Brooke. I love that she is moved to tears when she is applauded, after a very heartfelt performance.Everyone loved Amanda, I didn't. She just yells, and looks uncomfortable. Her hair extensions looked good, though!
And finally, my sweet little David Archuletta-he didn't do so well. He admitted on his little interview blurb before he went on that he was stressed, and I felt so bad when he stumbled on his lines.Aussie-hottie did ok. He could have done better.
Kristy Lee was AWFUL. Oh, I think she is the one to be eliminated.Ramiele seems like she doesn't want to be there now that Danny is gone. She just didn't seem all that into it.
It was a really good show-I stayed up late and watched my DVR of it after the family went to bed!
-
I almost forgot, Jason C. kinda flubbed-his last note was a squeak, and he let it show on his face that he knew it. I wish he'd put the guitar down a little more. He's so cute, and has really beautiful eyes-you just have to like the guy!
-
David Cook ROCKED "Eleanor Rigby". I actually clapped at the end of his performance!
I LOVED Chikezie's "She's A Woman"!!! I wanted to rewind and watch it again.
I thought Michael Johns did a respectable rendition of "Across the Universe" and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I love Jason Castro and forgive his flubs. lol He did "If I Fell" beautifully, IMO, accept for the flubs!
David A Forgot the words (gasp!) and generally gave a subpar performance of "We Can Work It Out".
David H is a really good singer but Sucked on "I Saw Her Standing There".
Carly did "Come Together" wonderfully and Simon was reminded of Kelly Clarkson. It doesn't hurt when you do a very popular song either.
Brooke did "Let it Be" and got high praise. I thought she did well but to be honest .. she's starting to bore me. I'm thinking she could just smile and the judges would give her high praise .. she's very popular.
Amanda Rocked "You Can't Do That" and I Totally enjoyed her performance. Her hair looks cool again too. lol
Syesha opened with "Got To Get You Into My Life" and was good but forgettable.
Ramiele sang "In My Life" and although she has a pretty voice she Was boring, as the judges said. Her pouting during her critique Didn't help win Me over!
Kristy was Laughable doing "Eight Days A Week"~ OMG, they told her to go country but she went SNL Hee Haw with it! It was AWFUL! She should have picked a song that had enough of a country tinge to it and sang that country. I felt she should have gone home 3 shows ago so I pick her as the one who Should go home tonight. I won't be surprised if she doesn't and it ends up being Syesha, although my second choice would be Ramiele. David H is also in danger, IMO.
-
LOL at SNL Hee-Haw! Too funny! And true, too!
Good synopsis, Charlene! I agree with everything you say (and I did rewind and watch Ezie! I thought his song was going to be bizarre when it began. What entertainment!)
-
any predictions on who's going home tonight ??
My guess is Ramiele or Kristy (depending on who has the bigger following ... I have liked what Kristy did before but have never been super impressed with Ramiele ..) Kristy's performance last night was hideous ... soooo over the top ...
for the guys - my guess is David H
ezie was wonderful last night ... David A flubbed - too bad ... it wasn't a good song choice for him at all ... I thought David Cook started out slow but his finish was great ...

Hi girls:
Chikezie Eze and Amanda Overmyer did it for me last night!
My picks to go home are three: Syesha Mercado, Ramiele Malubay and/or Kristy Lee Cook... aren't you proud of me that I finally got the names right?!?! LOL
-
Hello Ladies,
I agree with just about everything you both said, overall I thought it was a pretty good show, most years at this point there are still a couple that are painful to see perform certain selections out of their comfort zone.
Wow wow wow is all I can say about Chikeezee, I think he is just adorable, and I hope he lasts until the last 4 or 5 , I think he really opened up last night and enjoyed seeing him have so much fun. He's my new under dog to see go a long way. He has such a kind, sweet face.
I missed seeing, Syesha hubby was driving slow last night, if it were a football game he wouldn't have driven so slow, hahaha. I know everyone likes Amanda, but I'm really tired of the same old raspy screaming rocker thing. I'd really like to see if she can change it up a bit and try something sweeter but with a kick at the end. Just my thoughts on her. She's just kind of a one trick pony singer.
I loved David Cook, Michael , and Carly. Jason is still one of my favorites even though last night was not his best. My heart was in my stomach when cutie David A. messed up his lyrics, but I think he is still safe.
I just think Brooke is fantastic , would also like to see her change up her style alittle. I love her music and would buy her cd tomorrow if she had one. Absolutely my favorite so far, I think her only competion with the ladies is Carly. Ramielle was sweet but alittle boring.
I think David Her. was corny as hell, I'd like to see him leave this week, but I think it has to be Kristy thats going tonight , that was one of the worst performances I've seen on Idol. My hubby thinks it was the bands fault not hers but I just thought the whole thing was terrible. I laughed when Simon called it a "horrendous performance at the county fair". Have to agree there.
How many go tonight one or two???????? Okay now that I've rambled on, see you all later after the show. Take care and hugs to all KLynn

I have to join you ladies, since my 2 kids and husband won't watch with me! They're hooked on The Biggest Loser, which I check out on the commercials during Am Idol.
I'm guessing Kristy Lee is out, even though I should be loyal since she's a fellow Oregonian. I like Brooke the best of the girls, but I still think Syesha is talented--and Gorgeous! She should be on the America's Next Top Model show!
I think the top two are going to be Michael Johns and David A, unless he blows it again. "To be perfectly honest..." (as Simon would say) I called in 15 votes for David A because I don't want him to be eliminated yet. He's like a little puppy. So cute! It's kind of strange that he's 17 and looks younger than my 14-yr-old son.

Wow - I have to say, you ladies are "right on!" I'm hooked too, even though I know my husband just watches b/c I like it. Well, we'll see what tonight brings . . .
-
OH..........MY..............GOSH! What was that poor girl thinking, putting a country "twang" to a Beatles song?!?!?!?!?! AWFUL!
Chikezie soooooooooo impressed me. I didn't know he had it in him. I think my favorite would have to be David Cook rockin it out. I like Carly, but I really am bugged by the fact that she's already had a recording contract. It sort of feels like she's a "ringer" and already has it all sewn up.
-
I can't believe who got sent home!!!!!!
-
Don't want to give anything away for our west coasters....so all I can say is I think it was a great call on who went home tonight.... Talk to you later Hugs Klynn xoxox
-
Hey Deb,
We're posting at the same time ...Great minds... But I thought that person would go... TTYL... KLynn
-
Deb ... too funny .. great minds think alike! lol
NBN ... proud of you girl lol
KLynn ... Good call! I thought he was in danger too! Still would have preferred someone else before him but some are just more popular and voted on for their looks, unfortunately. Still, he never would have made it past some others anyway.
What did you all think of Kathy McPhee's performance?
Badboob67 ... I agree with Everything you said! lol
-
Hi ladies, I have to join in :-> It's my favorite show of all times!!!!
Ok, I didn't think Daniel H would be the one, because he did good in one or two nights. But he's not consistent, and not too popular --sorry :-<
I thought Kristi Lee was leaving, because she murdered that song in a big way!!! She's going next.
Ramiele has a good voice, but she always picks the boring songs! If she doesn't do better next time, she's in trouble.
I love Chikezie and Brooke!!!!
Oh, I think Kathy McPhe looked really slim and pretty! Good voice but it didn't blow me away.
-
Well I was surprised by David H going home. I thought he was good, and he did better than Kristy Lee. I wonder if the gossip about his nude dancing videos had any effect on the votes. And now there's some dirt on David Cook, and the stuff about David A's dad being a screaming control-freak.
I wonder if the producers like this negative stuff about the contestants. It adds to the buzz about the show.

I have to say that I too was surprised that it was David H instead of Kristy Lee. You never can tell for sure . . .
-
Hello Idolmaniacs!
"Idol' Axes Male Stripper Finalist" = David Hernandez.
I was very, VERY disappointed! With the spotlight on what David did before Idol, off course he is going to go... fast! He did not deserve to go...yet.
I sincerely think that whoever did something "risque" before Idol, is so "very discretely" getting the boot!
So what, he was a stripper in a gay bar! We all have to eat, right?! Did I ever tell you what I do on my off hours?! LOL
-
Hi Ladies,
I guess its okay to talk about the show now, lol. I really think Kristy should have gone before David H. but he was going to be one of the next to go anyway. His song/performance was very corny the other night.
Not only did they make us listen to that horrible redition of Kristy's song once on Tues. BUT then again on Wed. I don't ever want to hear that song again. Why would they have the bottom three (meaning the worst songs) sing again, I get it ....the one leaving being able to song as they go off, but I guess they need to fill up the hour they took to let someone go. Was it just me or did Paula actually seem awake and sober the last two nights??????
Until next week fellow Idolholics, Hugs KLynn
-
Hey Idolholics....Its Tuesday and Idols on tonight...Talk to you all later tonight, Lets hope for some really great performances tonight.
Hugs KLynn
