Looks like Starr and Cole are going to hit the sheets! I only hope that they use protection because I don't feel like  seeing another teen pregnancy storyline. Should be interesting, especially since the actress has been on the show for so long, 10 years since she was just a little thing and we've watched her grow. I'm rather surprised they weren't already sleeping together-- but I guess with all the drama in their lives there's not a lot of time left over for romance. LOL

Just dropping in to say HI!

Addie was in the studio last week, so some stuff will air toward the end of March.

I wish they'd do more with Talia's background. When she came on the show they hinted that she had been a cop in NYC during 9/11, but they seem to have let that aspect drop for the time being.

The regular writers are back, so some storylines are being tweaked again.

Kristen Alderson, who plays Starr, has mono, so we've had to postpone all of her scenes for a couple of weeks. It makes things very confusing for us, trying to keep track of the storyline when everything is out of order.

Felicia, we've had a recurring character named Malcolm. He has business with Nash.

Peg, thanks for dropping in.  I can't wait to see some more Addie.  She is delightful.   I hope Kristen is well soon.  I've watched her grow up on this show and she has turned into such a lovely young lady.

I wish they'd do more on Talia's background too. As far as I know, she's the only character with middle eastern descent on daytime. I think Bethann is a great actress, but it would be nice to see someone middle eastern in the role too.

Looks like today Starr and Cole hit the sheets.  I have no problem with 16 year olds having sex if they are ready and use protection, but Starr seems immature, not ready, and doing this for the wrong reasons.

Yeah, this will really convince Todd not to move them...right!  Silly girl!  These shows need some kind of a kick.  They have become a snoozefest.  Bring back David Vickers or really wake Allison up and let her loose.

    Peg,

Thanks for the update. We haven't caught the "Malcolm" character yet, but I'm sure my son will be thrilled...

I can't believe how horrible Todd was to Langston and Markko-- I wonder what's in store today for Cole...

    Okay,

I've lurked for awhile.  I just restarted watching soaps since my crappy mets dx.

Amy, I think the reason we think Starr is too immature is that we saw her grow up on this show!  Usually with kid actors they age them and bring in a much older person to be the new them.  In this case, they have always had the same old smart alec Starr.

    Creepy wasn't it?

I watch OLTL and The Young and the Restless.

    Welcome, Watson!

I think Todd will high tail it to Langston's house and Langston will try to call Starr to warn her, but her phone is off (she turned it off so they wouldn't be disturbed). Perhaps they will call Cole's phone instead (not that he will actually answer, since he's a bit busy, lol)...

    I certainly hope:

    1. They used protection and

    2. They either blow out all those candles or put something a little heavier up to the windows, so Joe Blow walking by (or Todd Manning in an angry funk) doesn't see ALL their business, lol!

Watson, glad you're here. Do you really think Starr is a smart alec? I like her percocious spunk.

OMG--- Todd is out of control, seriously crazy. WTF-- what would lead him to believe Cole raped Star-- his own guilty conscience. If he wasn't so out of control he would have realized she was there because she wanted to be. I thought Blair handled the whole thing with Starr really well, how she talked to her w/o judgment. Todd was so mean to Langston and WTF-- why didn't Star believe that he attacked Langston and Markko???? It's not out of character. I guess she was just too upset to think straight. I loved how Dorian defended langston.

    I can't wait for tomorrow.

Was Todd completely out of control or what?!? It was only a matter of time before John beat the snot out of Todd (and I'm glad he did).  Fireworks tomorrow for sure...

I got a phone call at the end of today's show.  Did John beat up Todd?????  Where did this happen?

I think Starr did believe Langston.  I thought she said "I don't blame you".

John was pounding on the front door at Dorian's and when Todd answered he (John) decked him and said "Touch the kid again and I'll kill you".......stay tuned til tomorrow!

I really thought she said, I don't believe you, but I hope you're right Pat. Langston had just as bad of an evening as Star, maybe even worse when Todd said she was jealous of Star because Langston's parents were dead-- that was plain cruel.

So what do you think is happening with Todd?!? He's always been a little off, but he seems to have gone off the deep end completely. Is it just denial that his "little" girl isn't so little anymore? Is he reliving what he did to Marty? Is he suffering from some sort of chemical imbalance?!? Is the man just plain CRAZY!?!  I have to admit, I want to slap him myself...

    Any General Hospital fans?

I don't know.  If Todd is crazy then so is Dorian.  Maybe Dorian didn't come to fisticuffs with Rex but remember Dorian hiring a man to stalk and kidnap Adriana because she didn't approve of Rex?  I think Todd is reacting like most fathers probably would with the exception that most fathers wouldn't actually punch the guy even though they probably want too.  I always knew that Todd would have these issues due to the very close relationship he and Starr have always had.

The difference between Dorian and  Todd is that Dorian's plan was cunning and calculating, where as Todd just seemed to have an explosion.  There's a disorder called Intermittent Rage Disorder that would describe his behavior yesterday. If Todd was a real person my theory would be that because he's got a lot of guilt over raping Marty, especially since she's died, he's got a lot of self hatred. He also feels guilty about participating in the "kidnapping" of Shane, which got him into the whole debacle with Ramsey. Todd would never want to hurt a kid -- a teen maybe, but not a kid. He realizes that he got his whole family in this mess, more self hatred. Then for the first time Star rebels and suddenly he realizes he fell off the pedestal and the girl who idolized him no longer does. That girl is becoming a woman and she not only doesn't want to move, but she's snuck out to be with Cole-- the guy who once tried to push himself on her. As Felicia said, Todd has never been wound together too well, so with all this self loathing and fear of Ramsey, his defenses are way, way down. I think he projects his own self hatred and fear onto Cole and assumes he is raping Star, that way he can stay in his denial that she's still the girl who worships him. Of all the people in Todd's life, even Viki, Star has been the one consistent to give him unconditional love- Jack wouldn't speak to him for a while and he's been off and on with Blair. If he can continue to believe her rebellion is someone else's fault, at least he can hold on to the consistency of Star's devotion. He's also projecting and possibly flashing back to when he raped Marty or his own rape. That would be my armchair clinical analysis LOL.

After the last scene today (Todd sitting in the dark muttering that everyone is going to pay for what "happened" to Starr), I'm convinced that Todd is on the verge of a mental breakdown. I feel for Blair, being stuck in the middle of this mess and all...

Anyone catch the scenes for tomorrow? Antonio has his property seized by either the FBI or the IRS. Wonder what that's all about? I'll miss it tomorrow, so please take copious notes, everyone...

Won't Nora and John press assault charges against Todd?  I would be shocked if they didn't.

Do you think Ramsey is behind Antonio's property seizure?

I was shocked to hear Todd threaten Langston. How would he feel if an adult threatened Star like that???? I hope she goes straight to Dorian.

I do think Ramsey is behind the property seizure. I assume Ramsey will claim mob ties or something racist-- I'm surprised he didn't go after Talia saying she has ties to terrorism since she's middle eastern-- the way he talked to and treated her.

The actor who plays Todd Manning was in the movie "Kingdom Come" for a minute. Anyone see it?

    Nope.

The show has certainly picked up on the excitement lately. I wish they'd wrap up the Ramsey story line though-- Ramsey is too bad, unredeemable at this point-- how about a murder mystery with Ramsey the victim?

BTDT too recently. Remember Spencer Truman's murder wasn't all that long ago. Besides, Ramsey's going to have to tick off a few more people so there are more possible "who done its."

Are there any people left for Ramsey to tick off? Seriously, does anyone like the guy LOL.

I think it's going to turn out that Ramsey is working with whoever is after the Buchanan family, Asa's enemy. I read where the actor was put on contract so maybe they'll somehow redeem him-- but I don't know how they can at this point.
