    Hello Sisters of my life xxx

    Well I am sooooooooooo sorry I have been AWOL Cool 

     I got in from work ....NINE HOURS yday at work .... someone was off with a tickley throat ...tickle my a** so we were lacking team...anyway enough of that dribble

    I posted last night on Joannes thread...I think it was quite late on ...not sure...anyway it was a very moving time last night here in my bedroom....and Joanne even though I dont correspond with her is touching me in my heart no end.....so I decided to switch off my lap top last night and spend a night thinking and praying and hoping and praying and everything .... for ALL OF US.... because I needed to ..... Last night was another door opening I suppose.... you know these doors that we dont want to open or we peak through...well I am more aware we have eternal life ..... whoever we are ...XXX

    Please understand I am not losing my plot xxx AND YOU ARE ALL ALWAYS IN MY HEART...I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU XXX

    Ok ...today I went shopping....only the supermarket I shop at is right next door to the REEBOK stadium...home to Bolton Wanderers...well..... lo and behold it was match day!!! they were playin Liverpool..... so instead of takin ten min to get home...it took 2 hours...and it has eaten all my day off up!!!!!! So I have only managed to binge eat...thats about it.... a few icecreams ... a box of chocs....a curry which blew my head off and made me cry .... me sore tongue ..nooooooooooooo lol..... I just had to eat it xxx

    Well hey its mothers day over here today...do you celebrate it in the US  .....

    Anyway ..... I am happy happy happy ....and feel energised...well I did earlier before I lay on my bed.....hahahaha

    AE .... Dont be nervous... when I think of you which is several times a day I send you vibes.... in my mind I go AE ....I am thinking of ya..feel my thoughts.... I hope Ub is feeling OK....tell him to curse into them hills .... as bootface will never ever come between us ... xxx

    Sue, I know what you mean, sometimes I think I need a break from all this as well.  It all gets a bit overwelming at times.  I read Joanne's post as well- what a strong woman. Amazing.

    UB has been sleeping for the past 2 hours, he was up and about at 4:30 this morning.  

    Gald to see you seem better, are you going anywhere on your time off??? 

    Oh, Ub just woke up, gotta run.

    Thanks for the birthday wishes ladies!!  My dear mom cooked a wonderful german dinner for me and my family tonight.  So, the birthday celebration continued!!!!  I'm going to have to do double duty on the treadmill this week to make up for all the good food I've eaten over the past few days.

    Sue, I have no idea why sleep is so re-arranged... I don't have anything but pain (and not constant, but off and on) to blame it on--perhaps that is one SE of bootface... our minds and bodies just change sleep routines until we process it all. I dunno.

    Sometimes I can sleep all day and other times I'm up for what feels like two days in a row with only a couple hours sleep.

    Here's hoping you get sleep when you want it, as much as possible.

    Karen, Happy belated birthday

    Sue, Happy Mother's day. Last year a friend of my son, who is from England sent me flowers for Mother's day in March and I was completly confused until I looked at a calendar with international holidays listed.

    Jane, I was the one who started the crazy sentence game.

    I got a phone call from my son Friday night, it was the first time I had heard his voice since Thanksgiving (November). He is still in the gulf region but doing well. He will be home for Mother's day (US).

    mine stil so so ths and uneven...

    can u remember me wen u fnshed ur chemo??i think i finished be4 u and look at ur hair now,,,,

    i am still bald if u want the trueth...wat r u using ???i need some of wat u r using really

    ...may be f  got some hair like urs i will feel better and get rid of this strong depression,,,

    He looks great Lucy! Good looking people don't need hair! That goes for you too Karen - I think you look lovely - you have a beautiful face and great head shape. I have heard that putting a laser light on your head helps hair growth - is that just a gimmick?

    Hi Ulla - glad the rads are proving to be uneventful but sorry you are so tired. It must be so annoying to have to go every day to be zapped.

    ((((((Wren)))))) - I am so sorry you have so much pain. I hope it decreases soon and that your sleep patterns improve. Damn this stinking disease!

    Lucy, my great-grandfather was grey/silver before he reached 30 and my grandmother was not far behind that. I don't remember her with anything but silver hair, she will be 94 in May and still going strong. I turned 47 in October and I am about 25% silver haired. I actually got complimented on my 'highlighting' in the area that I part the front. At first I thought that they were insults until I realized how good it does look with my dark brown hair and silver touches. My hubby just turned 40 and keeps his hair short because of the increasing number of silver hairs he is getting. The thing is they are also in his mustache and he won't shave it off.

    Ulla, I take Biotin (a supplement that promotes skin, hair, and nail health).  I also use Nioxin shampoo, conditioner, and foam treatment.  It's formulated for thinning hair, but a friend of mine who's a bc survivor used it when her hair started growing back after chemo and swore it made her hair grow faster.  I'm convinced of it too--my hair is growing like a weed.  If you can't find it in Sweden or online, I'd be happy to send you some.  Just let me know.

    Next week it will be 6 MONTHS since I was dx ....the time is going too scarily fast ...............

    Well I just woke up!! I didnt get to sleep til 3 am and went to work a 9 hour shift....was a bad day !!!! Tom insisted on working with us....as millionaire deirdre was visiting...with all her investors....the sale negotions are still ongoing...he told her he was always at our store helping....ahhhhhemmmm my a**  

     2 MORE DAYS TO GO TILL MY HOL.... YIPPEEE YEY!!! I will be slobbing it mostly LOL...

    The hospital phoned me today...one of the docs was chasing me up and lecturing me on working etc......I told him I would be speaking with ONKY next week about the treatment...he said there are only a few women that have these side effects with CMF Yell

    My hair is still growing !!! I keep making sure its not going to fall out by pulling it...hahahaha ....a teeny small tuft stuck up this morning and I was well proud!!! ..... when I was stuck in the traffic jam yday...2 lads behind me where winking at me through the rear view...a few seconds later I whipped the rugrat off my head ...hahaha you should of seen theur faces!!!

    Well I will go for a bath....

    I love you all so much...and I am going to get round to writing to you all soon ...it is one of my goals this holiday!!!!

    I will actually have time to do what I want xxx

    gb ...hope your water exercise class goes well xxx My back and my arm have been really painful this week....swelling...etc....I am sure the chemo makes it worse....but I did notice that the one week I didnt really have a hot bath at night ....my arm was much better....I remember you saying avoid them...xxx  I can't do without a nice bath though ...lol....its the only time I sort my head really well ...xxx

    I have to get up Yell  I really got no stamina to waste time working tomorrow ... brick walls an all that xxxx

    Hi Ulla, glad to see you post. Don't appologize for not posting.  I know how you feel.  I have been feeling very down lately...and I don't post as often.  I read, but I don't post.

    Just so you all know...I love you ladies, and I am around, even if I take a break or two.

    How many more day's Sue until your holiday?  I am so happy for you!!

    Jane...I hope the exercise class helps your LE.

    I may go for a walk tonight.  It is very warm here today. It won't last long..they are calling for falling temps and a storm!  I think a walk may help with my mind...cause I don't like where it is.

    Maybe I need an anti-depressant?? I have not been on anything like that since my dx. My one year date is coming up on Thursday March 6th.

    You are well justified to feel the way you do ...life is at times hard enough even without bootface..... please know that I am holding you in my heart and thoughts...xxx  Try not to be too hard on yourself for not feeling up to scratch...you will come through this surgery and the stress and sadness you have had of late.... xxx

    I am still taking anti d's .... I daren't come off them....maybe your hormone tabs are causing you to feel off beat????  One day I will come a knocking on your door.... hahaha.... I still have these plans .... xxx Please feel my prayers ...

    I am going for that bath now ...oh god it is knocking on for 11pm ...xxx
