Hugs,
Neesie
-
I'm more like 98% sure, just no resv yet. I think if it's me and casino girl rooming again, we've agreed on the Hampton Inn, it's a lil more $, but we had a great experience staying there last year and it is closer, something to consider when driving back at night.
Oh MB, put me on the cooking list. Lunch and Dinner, I don't know about making up the hill for you early birds.
-

OK...for the newbies...this is kinda how it went....
DH & I, up by 5 getting the fire started to cook on....and COFFEE..then Suz's DH thought it was a good place to run...lol...did I say I live on a hill!!!! pancakes, eggs to order(ewww Scott ordered something slimey if I remember correctly) , cereal for breakfast ...french toast to I think?... very early risers we are...so this time maybe we'll try to sleep in!!!..unless Dh goes to car show then up early cleaning cars...lol
Lunch, sandwiches, pizza..
dinners, lets see grilled stuff...chicken, burgers..etc..
SO if you are a vegetarian or other, let me know...and give me some ideas , we will fix what ever....

-
I talked with my husband yesterday and it looks like we will be coming to Pinkstock after all. It will be so exciting. Can't wait.
-
I can help with breakfast
-
Yeah Susan is coming too!
I know how to pour cereal in a bowl. Someone else may have to pour the milk though.LOL. Just kidding you guys. I will do whatever needs to be done. Dh is loving the whole car show thing. Hope they are classics and muscles. Those are his favorites.

Lori, here is the info on the Best Western
Olean Hotels & Motels
- Best Western University Inn - $$
3051 West State Street, Olean, NY 14760
Hotel - 2 floors, 60 rooms
Heated indoor swimming pool - exercise room
-
When I see Bren today I'm going to talk to her about coming to Pinkstock.
I know Doris and Kathy are working on Nicki too - offered to swing by and pick her up.
I'll let you know - anyone need roommates?
Brenda
-
okay...should I book my own room or is there a block of rooms set aside?
-
Lori, no rooms set aside so you need to book your own. Some are at the Best Western and some are at Hampton Inn. I think a few pages back someone gave the address for BW. From what I have read, Hampton might be a tad more expensive but is closer to MB's and they felt worth it driving back from MB's late at night.
Hope this helps. Brenda

Hi Guys,
What are the dates for Pinkstock "08"? I am going to try to make it this year.
Joyce
-
i also would like the dates please.

-
Shel, you really going to try to make it? Hope you can.
Big hugs
-
YES!!!!!! i really am, i'm off work right now post hyst but i spoke to my unit director on thursday and she said she'd grant me a long weekend in august if i could get the dates to her soon (i'd already booked my 5 weeks vacation so i need to use "stat holidays" to get the time) ......... but she was really cool about it and said 'shouldn't be a problem'.
vickie said if i fly to ithaca (sp) she'll pick me up and if i can get a hotel room i'm definitely in ............ i just need the dates asap.
............ i don't do camping so well, but if i had to i would just to meet ya'll.
-
August 1-3. How many more days is that? It is going to be the best week-end ever.
-
Hey girls,
I am in this year with DH and probably 1 DS. Where do I sign up? I will help out where ever I am needed. Just don't put me in a craft tent..LOL...I am challenged in that area! Can someone post the address and # for the Hampton Inn? I see Madison posted the other choice so I will check out both.I am really excited! Do we have a fund to send money to for the cost of food, etc??I am looking forward to meeting everyone.
Take Care,
Joyce

Joyce,
If you type Hampton Inn, Olean, New York your search will result in:
http://hamptoninn.hilton.com/en/hp/hotels/index.jhtml?ctyhocn=OLNNYHX
If this link doesn't work.........please do a search for "Hampton Inn, Olean, New York.
I am so excited to see so many people going to Pinkstock.
I don't know if there are any blocks of rooms booked at any given hotel.
You can do searches for hotel rooms using the direct link to the hotel(s), or you can use one of the "internet travel sites".
If you do use one of the "travel websites"and you get a "no availability"........move onto another site.....until you find a room.
I booked a room using my AAA Membership card and did receive a discount on the room.
Good Luck...............
-
Hey girls~
I haven't actually made reservations yet, but Christine and I are planning to attend, and I can't wait!
Fancy - love your Aussie Shepherd avitar. Looks so much like one of my canine children Lucy.
MB - looks like a bigger crowd for PS '08. Do you think Crazy Bob is up to it? I wonder if I'll get a new screen name this year? LOL!
-
Sounds like quite a few more ladies this year!
Casinogirl...............a new screen name...............oh yea, I'm sure we can make that happen!! (or you can!)
Crazy Bob had better get to marking many more trees!!
Hugs,
Neesie
-
I am so very excited.
Please do a search, if you are a member of AAA, AARP, or some other type of organization that offers "travel" discounts before you book your hotel room. They may be some wonderful discount options available.
MB............here we come!!!
-
Thanks Madison,I will check it out.
Joyce
-
Well I for one know I can't wait .... Crazy bob will be back in commision by Late March or Early April..shoulder Surg...something to do with crashing his 4 wheeler alot up on the hill... but all the trees are marked...
ME, lets see the band has registered, and so many others.... I may need to start really figuring things out...
to allthe newbies....lol...can't wait to meet you...missed you last yr....hopefully you like fresh air, a breeze and lots of hugs...
MB
Susan.....call me......
-
Just found out I may see you all at Pinkstock. My b/f said he would drive me. We would only stay a couple hours as it would be a day trip for us, but that's long enough to meet you all.
-
wooohoooo... that's fantastic Blue!!!! I am sooooo excited about Pinkstock and getting to meet everyone !!
Doreen
-
Wow! What a crowd. Can't wait.
Joyce-I am with you on the craft tent. Keep me as far away from that as possible. I might hurt myself or others. I am about as crafty as I am chef.
-
.......... i can cook up a storm for very large groups (put myself through nursing school via catering)............ but i'm sure enough not crafty in any way shape or form ............ i think i failed 'home ech' because i couldn't sew a button on to match the button hole lololol!
-
Glad to hear Shel and some others like to cook for groups!!!! We really want to keep MB out of her kitchen a bit more this year!! And if you sneak in to do dishes and clean up, she'll swat your hand with a spatula!!
Hugs,
Neesie
-
I'm working on the Pinkstock store. Should be up and running soon. I'll post the link when it's ready to go.
It's great to see so many being able to make it this year! Can't wait to meet everyone!
