    For those of you who are not watching American Idol has started.  They have eliminated two boys and two girls.  This young man, David Archuleta, is amazing!  And, he's only 17 years old!  I believe this year they have better contestants than last year.

    Something other than politics!

    I agree ... David Archuleta is amazing!!!  His performance this week was truely outstanding ...  amazing since he's soooo young.

    I saw this and thought he was great ...  I liked his video clip where he met the 1st season's Kelly Clarkson and how she hit him not believing he was 11 with that fantastic voice.

    I totally agree about David A. I actually thought all three Davids did great Tuesday night, but David A. is just way, way better than anyone else on that show! I can't wait for the results tonight! I would have predicted that Amanda Overmeyer would be going home at the horrendous rendition of "Carry On My Wayward Son" last night, but according to dialidol.com she is at the front of the girls in voting. I think that is because of the web site, "Vote for the worst." They evidently like to promote the really bad singers on the show and keep them going!!! So lots of people vote for those people--go figure!

    Shirley, thanks for posting this.  The song is amazing in and of itself....but this young man breathed new life into that message.

    I know very little about this TV show or the other contestants.....but peace....it could happen.....Smile

    I just want to brag that David is from Murray, Utah....just down the street from Salt Lake City!  Gee, can I take credit for him being so talented and cute?  LOL!  We were excited that Simon practically wants to hand him the the whole competion right now!

    John Lennon would be SO very proud.

    Whether he wins or not he will be given a recording contract.  And I hope he sings "Imagine" on his CD.
