    Hey NBN

I have just recently got into the Lost show.  I finally went back and watched the first two seasons which cleared up alot of confusion for me.  What do you think the black smoke monster is? Who do you think the people on the boat are??

Hey Jas: love you new avatar picture!

I have no clue what the black smoke is; as to the people on the boat, may be some other co. trying to get the secrets from the original people from the island and its powers of healing even thou no one can carry a child to full term!  It is so wicked entwined that sometimes, I don't know if I am coming or going!  Lost has definitely not lost any of its appeal b/c of the writer's strike.

    Check out Lost at:  http://dynamic.abc.go.com/streaming/landing

Full episodes for free!  It's mysterious, deceiving, intelligent, sexy,...

Check out Friday Night Lights at: http://www.nbc.com/Friday_Night_Lights/

It's young, hip, sexy and even thou those kids are almost old enough to be my own kids, they are hot!  And did I mention AMERICAN FOOTBALL!

Yes, I find that curious as well.  But its only if the baby is conceived on the island.  I guess the island doesn't want any future generations.

I love FNL-- unfortunately it looks like we may have seen the last of it, at least on NBC. They're shopping the show on TNT and the CW, but NBC's asking price is really high. The acting on FNL is phenomenal.

Wow, how in the world did Kate end up with Claire's baby????  I never expected that.  I thought Kate had had Sawyer's baby.  Truly weird.

Jas: OMG!  You should have seen my face when Kate says the word "Erin"!  But she also said to Jack "...when you see the baby, you will know..." or something to that effect!  So, is it Sawyer's or Claire's baby she has?!  And last season's episode, had Cate seeing an all bent out of shape Jack by the airport and saying that she had to go home to "him"!!!  Man, the sharp turns of these series!

Amy: FNL it one of the most realistic series I ever watched!  The acting, the story lines, it's America (it's our town or the next town over...); I truly love all of FNL!  I hope they can reach an agreement as to $!  Darn, it's all about $$$!  Just give us the darn show!

We love lost...the babies survive on the island - it's the mother's that die...

And I think she stole Aaron, but why?

Maybe my "him" she was referring to the baby?

    Maybe it's Ben's baby...lol

He got back from the island too!

So why are the rest left there and no one will rescue them?

    Weird....

Oh my god I'm so dense I totally missed that it was Claires' baby, geeesh I'm an idiot.  I just looked for the blond hair and thought it was Jack's rivals baby.  Now I can't wait for the next show and really want to know what happened.

Snowy... I thought it was Sawyer's baby too until she called him 'Aaron'.  That was the name of Claire's baby remember!  I don't think she stole him.  My guess would be that whatever happened, Claire probably asked Kate to get him away from the island.

But why couldn't Claire leave too then?  They weren't held against their will or anything....

Thanks Sawyer thats his name, chemo moment there.  This show has now got me totally twisted and hooked, and I have to pay better attention. I'm starting to wonder if they are in two Universes now.   And how about Ugly Betty I love that show it's just sit back and fun, I really miss it and can't wait until it's back on.

Well, that's the big mystery of the show now.  Why were there only 6 survivors who made it off the island?  They keep referring to the Oceanic 6.  I think the others are still alive on the island but for whatever reason being prevented from leaving.  I think this is what Sayid and Ben were discussing when Ben said that about 'protecting the others.'  I also think that is why Jack wants to go back.  Jack is a man of guilt.  He knows he left others behind and he can't live with that fact.

I think it will all become clear when they finally reveal who the people on the boat are.  I'm thinking that maybe Ben was telling the truth when he warned them that the boat people were not there to rescue them and would do them harm.

I think your right, but why did Jacob help Lock then abondon him so many questions.  I can't wait for thurs night now.

I don't know.  That's a good question.  You can tell that Locke is really confused now too.  And what's with Hurley finding Jacob's cabin.  Is he going to be the 'chosen' one now too?

I think the popular theory is that Michael is the one in the coffin that Jack visited since the clues are that the person who died is from New York and is survived by a teenage son.  That would fit for Michael and Walt.

I think the boat people are scientists that want secrets too....Hurley sees it because he hallucinates and maybe he was chosen for those "visions?"

I think Jack wants back because his life stinks now..remember how disheveled he looked? I can't wait for Thursday!

Maybe Claire dies.....so sad that her baby is not with her!

Emelee -- that is true about Hurley.  I forgot that he 'sees' things or people.  Apparently, even people who are supposedly dead like Charlie.  Maybe some psychic ability going on there.

I so hope Claire doesn't die.  She is one of my favorites.  And Desmond was supposed to have seen her and the baby get on the helicopter so I don't understand what happened there.  That is why Charlie sacrificed his life because he knew that they would at least be safe.

So many mysteries.  I guess we will just have to let the story unfold on its own timeframe. Has the writers' strike ended yet? I sure hope we don't get left hanging more than usual this season.

    Yes it ended...so I think a total of 16 episodes and we've only had 4 I think..right?

I agree w/ the fact that Hurley is the "chosen one"... you know... people w/ mental problems are chosen to handle them, or not, because they are special... LOL!

And Claire... probably wanted to give her son Aaron a better life, and asked Kate to take the baby w/ her off the island.

Now, why is Sayid a hired killer by Ben?!  That was wicked!  I think Ben is killing everyone that created the island and may be he is holding Sayid's long time love interest as pay back.

Well, that was an interesting episode.  Some kind of time jumping thingy.  Can't wait to see how that plays into everyone getting off the island.

I have watched "Lost" since day one.

I didn't know if I heard correctly last week when Kate says the baby's name.

I don't try to figure things out because when I think I've figured one thing out they throw in more curve balls.

    I can't wait for tonight's show.

I also enjoy the prehour show with the little clues they pop up during the scene.

I'm on the west coast so your east coasters have probably already watched it.

I better stop reading this thread for tonight so I don't spoil it for myself.

    Night all.

Last nights show didn't answer any of our questions about the baby, I sort of wish they wouldn't concentrate so much on one situation each show and make us wait so long for the answers. I'm already hooked, just don't like feeling like they're throwing us to many questions and not enough continuation (is that a word).  Oh well now lets hope next week will give us the answer about Erin and Claire. Pearl  And it does look like paralell universe thing happening with time machine.

So... who do you think is Ben's guy in the boat?

I would like to say Sayed... but he was one of the original survivors... than again, he might have been out doing business for Ben... a couple of episodes ago, in the future, he was injured and comes back to Ben so he may retrieve the bullet!  Possible?

Also, I am thinking Walter's father, because they left the island a while ago, just the dog stayed behind... could be... they did say it is someone that we never expected to see again!  So probably Sayed is out of the "suspect list".

Charlie?!?!?!  Too wicked... and how he would have survived the under water explosion?!

Did you watch Lost last night?

    Anyone?!

Okay, so they had stupid basketball on last night and I just couldn't stay up to 1 am to see the next episode of Lost.  But, I did watch it online at the ABC site.

I kind of wondered of Michael could be Ben's man on the boat.  Remember, he told them the heading to stay on when Michael and Walt left so I expect Ben knew where the Widemore boat was and knew they would get picked up.  My only question is where is Walt.

And what in the world is going on with Jin.  One flash shows him with a Panda and another shows Sun at his grave?  How can that be.

Wasn't Juliet a b**** for telling Jin about Sun's affair.  Some people...

Back?  I didn't know I went anywhere but then again, sometimes I'm the last to know.  :)

Oh, duh!  I just saw your earlier post so nevermnd.  LOL

I had to wait until the show was available online this morning.  Everything on ABC is being preempted here for dumb basketball tournaments.  Don't they have sports channels for these sports tournaments?  grrr....I want to watch my shows too.  <vent over>

Okay, I am back w/ a full tummy!

I knew it would be Walter's (Michael) dad in the boat.  I do not have any idea what happened to Walter, but will put my money on him being back to the island... we all know how twisted Ben is!  Also there have been some appearances of Walter w/ the dog in the island.

About Jin... he is not dead... I guess they went back to China.  Sun's father continues to be a bastard... a huge one, and Jin used to do all Sun's father dirty work...  Since Jin did not want to be in the same position as before, he might have pretended to die and start over, may be to grow as rich as Sun's dad and than be worth of Sun before Sun's father's eyes... am I confusing you?

The only thing that I was confused is that at the hospital, Jin was told that Sun had a Boy... when we know it is a beautiful Girl!!!!!!  What about that?

I probably would have done the same thing Juliette (love that name and think the actress is stunning) did; she just wants to save Sun and her baby... was it wrong???  Yeap!  But we know already that gesture saved both, mom and child.  Hurray!

So, who are the Oceanic 6?  Jack, Kate, Sun, "Curly", Sayed, and...

And don't get me started w/ the freaking sports BS! GRRRR!

I thought the baby boy was the Chinese ambassador's grandchild.  Sun and Jin are Korean.  The baby boy was a different baby.

I think the 6th survivor was Michael and I think he is the one in the coffin that was shown in one of Jack's post-island episodes.  Remember the article he saw said someone from New York and survived by a teenage son.
