Hi Everyone: 9+ years ago when I was 51 I received my news of BC (stage II and III)and Uterine Cancer (very early stage I). a breast removal with reconstruction(which I would never do again!!!) complete hysterectomy 29 days after the first surgery then 4 treatments of AC and 4 of Taxol. took Tomoxifin for the 3-1/2 years THEN--Five+ years ago, BC was detected in some left over breast tissue, Pet scan showed it was localized and had 4 treatments of Taxoteer + 38 radiation treatments.I took Arimidex for 5 years and just went off of it in the fall of 2007. I will have a full body scan in July of 2008 before the Onc. will move my apts. to once a year. I went through all treatments without getting sick, and without delay of any of them, my white count stayed up, I felt week and nauseous, but never brought up, never burned from the radiation. Dr. assured me it was doing what it had to do, just could not understand why I did not burn more than a little red. I knew why!!!! God was my strength, my power, my joy, I knew if it was my time, I was going to a better place with a new body someday. I knew that because my God has assured me of that and He always keeps his promises to his children. He kept me here to encourage, show compassion, give hope and restore Joy to the lives of those who have to fight BC. BC is of the devil not of God, so therefore it does not control you, it has no authority over your body unless you let it, no matter what,Your Body belongs to God as his Child he walks with you every step of the way. We might not always know why? But we can KNOW, that God loves us and is with us every minute of every day. Stay focused, believe the chemo (mind picture) is God's army marching through your body killing all the bad cells. The radiation is the heat of Gods Love, giving you victory. And when this life is over, we can join with Him in a place where there will never be any cancer or sickness. But in the time we have here on this earth, believe, trust that he still performs miricles here, just as he did when He walked this earth. Love and Prayers to all.
