Thanks! OMG - I was getting worried...I'm so glad you received them! I'll have another batch ready any day now.
Should I send them to you...or do any of the other girls want some? I can divide them up too.

Helen1: A big hello to you my dear friend. Im sitting here just crying and so happy you got the afghan. I only wish that one of my squares were part of it. You know me - once a procrastinator - always one.
I sure miss you. 3 year anniversary is just around the corner. You were always one month ahead of me.
I agree. Its been way too long since we have chatted.
I love you

[ Add to Address Book | Block Address | Report as Spam ]To: Subject: RE Naomi is probably (next to you) one of the kindest persons I have met in a long time. I hope her hubby gets the job.
I got this today from Helen, made me feel wonderful. Helen, I bet it made me feel as good as you did getting your agfhan. Naomi and I were able to meet today, we sat and talked for about an hour. Will tell you more about our meeting when I call you this weekend.
And by the way, you are very nice yourself, I still remember that St Louis weekend and the friction that was going on in the room you were in. You remained, cool, calm and collected.

Thanks again for everyone who contributes.

Vickie, beautiful as always........
Liz, I've had that happen to me..............take a picture, mail the afghan out and then find out the picture didn't come out.
I am still working on an afghan.......just took on another little project and didn't work as much on the afghan this week. Hope to get it finished this weekend.
Oh, I received some squares from GraceM, CherrylH, CY and I think someone else...I'll get everyone's names.....
Thank you all. The variation in colors, patterns, textures makes each afghan so very unique and special.

Hello Ladies,
I'm determined to teach myself how to crochet so I can contribute to the afghan project. I just printed out the instructions, from the link that was posted---keep your fingers crossed !!!! Hopefully, I'll be sending squares soon. -
OMG!
I just received the beeeeyoutiful afghan today. You woman are amazing! And I can't tell you what perfect timing it was. I just got home from my lung biopsy (not fun, lung collapsed a little) and there was a box on my front porch.
Imagine my surprise! I went running around the house showing it to husband and kids. That may have been a mistake because my 9 year old son wants it. I told him NO. But now he wants to learn how to crochet one himself so I guess we're out to buy yarn and hooks tomorrow. It's been a gazillion years since I tried to crochet.
I love you ladies immensely. You will never know just how much you mean to me.
Much love,
Watson

Isn't it a wonderful feeling when the box arrives at your doorstep. It's a package filled with love! How come it always shows up when you need it most?
-
Watson - I have been checking to see if it arrived today! I am so happy it got there. Seems it went by pony express from my home to yours. I was getting worried.
We are all with you and enjoy our hugs.
Love
Liz

I've been busy...will send some more next week. The crochet stitch I do is, well let's just say, different. I figured it out...it's not single and it's not double. So...I've named it. It's the:
MRSD = Modified Radical Single Double stitch. lol
-
GTO,
You crack me up!!
love,
Bren
-
As if I have nothing better to do than come up with crazy crochet stitch names!
