Flights are made, cars are rented, stakes are in place, shirts are designed......we aren't to excited are we?!?!?!?! AND............MB, has Crazy Bob been told we're coming back???
Can't wait!
Hugs,
Neesie
-
Neesie.. he has already been cutting down TREES for the fire...lol....
I can't wait for you all to come back to the hill...
hugs MB
-
MB, I will never forget last year when Crazy Bob hopped on his tractor and disappeared into the woods after exclaiming that the fire was not big enough. Suddenly, out of the darkness, we could hear the sounds of a chainsaw and the THUMP of a tree hitting the ground. I thought DebC and I were going to fall out of our chairs from laughing so hard! All the new attendees this year have no idea how entertained they are going to be!
Hugs,

Just a suggestion but why not just everyone meet in Las Vegas........airfare is usually pretty cheap and hotel is reasonable......of course it may not be private enough......of course I may be thinking of 1978 prices
............or Branson may be more reasonable..........that way not one person is hosting the whole event...........just a thought.........or I know that many are trying to have a small get together in Eureka Springs,AR in the Spring.....it is really nice there as well..........Shokk
-
Sorry guys I am having a chemo brain moment........Shokk
-
My dearest big sister is trying to get to New York the same time I am there. We have not seen each other since 2 weeks before my dx when she moved from here to Oklahoma. This is so great. She probably won't come to Pinkstock but this is the first time since 1989 that my mom will have all her kids together in one place.
Just trying to work out dh's work schedule but I should have my tickets by tomorrow.
-
ok, I am coming to Pinkstock...now to go back and read all the details...I am very excited to get to meet you all.
-
I sure want to join you all this year. I'll go back and get the details so I can put in for time off. Yeah...can't wait to meet you guys.
-
Hi Brenda,
Sounds good! I will try to work our vacation around that time. I am looking forward to meeting everyone.

But you can send the $$ to me...and I have already reopened the pinkstock account...lol...the girls at the bank can't wait to hear all about it again this year...
If you need my info PM me or email me...
hugs...
-
Well, glory halleujah, Sandy, I think I can do this this year!!! I will be driving in from Michigan--delighted to share a ride with anybody who needs one. I'm debating whether to go through Toledo or Niagara Falls. Perhaps my passenger will have something to say about the map.
Anybody???
-
Fancy..... so glad you found us... hmmm think neesie is from up there...
hugs and can't wait
-
I have been so busy with work I have not ordered my plane tickets yet. I am going to do it this week come h*ll or high water.
-
Just checking in and bumpin' to the top. I am always looking for flight deals. Is the Hampton Inn going to offer the same deal. It was so convienent and a nice lil hotel too.
The only problem I am having is the calendar, I usually can't close out the month at our restaurant until the 1st of the month, with Fri being the first this year, I may need to catch a really early flight on Fri or teach someone else to do my job, imagine that?
-
The Hampton is Not playing nice... here's the deal...
Hampton... $129 night or the Best Western ( across the street from Walmart) for $119.... I believe you could get better rates online?...WTH... this is the best I can do... it seems the Casino has raised all the rates in the area?... so any ideas should I just get a block at the Hampton?
Thanks for all your patience
MB
-
We can check prices on line...........but what about the little 'bumpkin motel' the DH and I stayed at? It was a no frills, but not bad for the little bit we were there...............definitely a family run business! To bad I can't remember the name of it!!
Christine: I say..........start teaching someone to do your end of the month billing!! Tardiness is not an option!!
Hugs,
Neesie
-
MB, I think checking on-line for prices is a good idea. I'll check it out
-
neesie thanks forgot about them... will do...
Econo Lodge
Cuba, NY if your looking...

Just looking for updates! Need something to look forward to......right now August seems so far away, but as we all know.....It'll be here before we know it!
I know Madison and Liz are going to Pinkstock............who else is going? I think Vickie is going, BrendaBMD, Christine, I believe Candie, Suz(?), Susan..I think..............okay, my whole post is filled with "I thinks!" So, someone else take over!!
Hugs,
Neesie
-
I went online to the Olean, NY official website...............did a hotel search and was able to book with Best Western (at reasonable rates). They give discounts for AAA and AARP. I called the 1-800 number, booked a room, and have a confirmation number.
Good luck everyone..........see you at Pinkstock
Bye, Bye Miss American Pie
-
Madison.. thanks for the hotel update.. was gettuing very frustrated with them...
so shall we make the Best Western the Home of 2008?... can you get them cheaper than the quoted $119?.. sorry haven't had time to check online.. if not I'll book a block of rooms.... may do it anyway...
and would anyone want a Sat eve Cath. mass?.. think I could give that project to my mom...!! I can also call Sandra to come back.. what do you think or both?...
Ok legal beagle stuff... someone mentioned waivers to be signed, just in case...not like I have anything anyone would want...or $$ to have.... any ideas... may have to find a lawyer friend...
MB
-
That's too funny Madison. I actually know where Olean NY is located. LOL
-
MB - are they talking about a liability waiver for you? If so, it's a simple thing stating that the visitor is agreeable that if there is an accident or something happens to them it's not your fault or responsibility to take care of them. Something like that. I have one somewhere I think. I'll look for it and email it to you if I find it.
Personally, I think that's just common sense but you know me - I'm easy to get along with.
Oh do I need to bring more salt & pepper? LOL
-
Oh man, I forgot.............no salt at MB's house!!!! To funny Liz!
MB: I also think a simple "not to be held responsible" form would do the trick....of course you could jazz it up a bit like..............not responsible for a bunch of wild women drinking blue drinks falling into my pond and torching their behinds drying off by Crazy Bobs fire!!!!
Hugs,
Denise
-
lol... hot a** at bob's....i'll have to make copies for him too....lol...the crazy man...
and lol... I still have Liz's salt & pepper shaker.. I promise to remember this year.. its on my list....
Ok still trying to hook up the cottage at the lake, swimming & fishing, canoe.... have a life guard all lined up...lol.. I have all kind of resources... so the older girls my want to hang out at the dock..
hugs my friends this is making winter go sooo much faster...
MB
-
OK here's the list so far....
Brenda..BMD
Fancy
