-
<scoots house next to susan's...bet's she won't notice>
-
well, you're right. I don't have clue.
-
Susan: Same here. But being confused is good sometimes.
Odalys: Darn it about the sewer problem. Big headache to deal with over the week-end thats for sure.
OK gotta go - getting ready to watch the first game of the playoffs.
Nicki
-
Hey All!
What's shaking? Popped in for a quick hello. Going to read for a bit now...
Nicki - love the new avatar!!
OK, can't start scrolling and posting now, or I won't go back and read!@!!
-
Doris - Yes, I am close to Ft.Lauderdale. Will you be here during the last weekend in February? I hope you are so we can meet. Let me know.
-
Colleen: Good to see you my friend. I have missed talking to you and hope you come around more often.
Odalys: Ft. Lauderdale is one of my favorite places to go. Well when its not spring break. My friend has a home there with a built in swimming pool in the back yard. Like a little girl I was. Picking oranges and grapefruits from trees in her yard. Ya see in Chicago - you only get them from the grocery stores. I also love seeing the tropical birds flying around. Her house was on a canal that led out to the ocean. It brings back such great memories.
Wild/Jan: Your photos are as usual, spectacular.
CY: We havent heard from you for a while and Im hoping all is going well. Please check in if you can.
Doris: OK I missed you saying you were going to Florida. Now Im really jealous.
OK - gotta go watch some football.
Nicki

Hi girls, went through a few hours of storms with thunder earlier but power is still on and it's not raining right now. Some areas got over 9 inches of rain yesterday!
Any word from Neesie on the new arrival?
Candie, yesterday would have been the perfect time to work on the knifty knitter too. Now I'm really going to have to look for it.
Nicki,we're in a lull right now. My son's friend just came over and said a tree had crashed on his street, from one side to the other, and it smashed two cars - the tires are higher than the roofs right now. I went to the store this morning instead of exercise class - wanted to make sure I was home before the rain really hit. Supposed to be more later and I have to go out again. Oh, football - I don't know if you remember that Ryan played football in high school. I went to every game but one during all the years he played but his school is known for their football team and are in the local CCS championship playoffs every year. Now I'm starting to see some of the kids he went to school with playing college football on TV - that's exciting when you see kids you know on TV.
Jan, those are some beautiful pictures. Yup, hurricane strength winds, were blowing over semi-trucks so freeways were closed to them.
Colleen, good to see you.

Hi, Hi, stopping by to see if we have a baby.........Neesie???? Are we a grandma?
-
Madison: Yep, I keep checking in too. Looking to see if the baby has arrived.
Neese: Sending lots of love your way.
Margo: They keep showing pictures of these storms that are hitting California - they showed SanFrancisco and the waves were crashing onto the roads. Stay safe tonight my friend. Maybe you will need to borrow Shokks closet? I just got interested in college football this year. Boy I bet it would be fun to actually know and recognize the names.
2 minutes left. Seattle 28 Redskins 14. Its pretty exciting.
Then its onto the next game. Jaguars against the Steelers. Go Jaguars and I win the football pool.

Neesie - checking in to see if your grandbaby has arrived yet? You must be really busy. Good luck in the delivery room.

Puppy, a new baby in your family too? Congrats
Susan, did you take the decorations down when you cleaned? Mine can wait until Monday - I just didnt' have the energy to tackle it this weekend.
Margo can't believe the weather that has hit Cal. These last months have just been unreal. Thinking of you and the other Cal. sisters.
WildJan, the reflection picture is my favorite. Thanks for sharing.
Nicki - go Jaguars!!! Hope you win the pool.
Gonna go spend some time with hubby - I'll stay out of trouble if I do that.

Good Morning Everyone: Hello to all the familiar faces and hello to the new bc survivors who happen by chance to stop by. The wagon circle is a wonderful place. Lots of support. A place you can truelly come especially if you are in need of comfort. So many are going through hard times right now and we all are here ready to help everyone thats seeks refuge from their storms.
Peter: It doesnt happen to me often, but when it does I get so frustrated when I lose a long post. You are still in the future for me. So when you wake up it will be Monday, but it will still be Sunday hear.
Neese: Oh my goodness - big congratulations. What an exciting day it was for you. Blake Williams is a wonderful name.
BMD: Good to see you. Did you have to go out and show all those houses? I know it sounded like you were having a big day at work despite the fact you are still recovering from your surgery. Im glad to here the recovery is going well. Hoping I will talk to you later.
Candie: Yes, Im very exciting about the promotion at work. I know I am just gonna love it. Have been wanting so bad to be able to help others with cancer and this is my big chance. I can actually go to work with a big smile. I was on the chat of few times myself yesterday - maybe one day we will catch each other there.
Wild/Jan: Congratulations on you picture being chose the accu weather pic of the day. Looking forward to what you will have for us today.
Naniam: Im laughing about MB working us hard in the morning. Im figuring if I go to Pinkstock she will have me washing windows as an arm stretch exercise. Im gonna try to exercise again today and hopefully I wont be as pitiful as I was yesterday.
Liz and Madison: A big hello to you.
DebC: Haha another good belly laugh - a new baby head to snifff!
Susan: Thanks for letting us know about Neese. I bet she was so excited when she spoke with you.
Naniam: Whoo hoo! I won the pool. I had so much fun watching football yesterday. And I have $100 bucks - decided Im gonna go out and get my hair colored. I have this really strange white streak growing from my widows peak. I thought about you last night, cause when I went to bed I had the worst hot flash. Why do they just pop up when we least expect it.
Puppy: You must be flying high with the arrival of the new baby. And you should be very proud of yourself by not smoking. You hang in there. Everyone is behind you.
Margo: I looked at you pictures regarding the exercise ball. They look pretty easy and not too hard for someone that is deconditioned like I am. Im gonna try to add them to my routine today.
Bren: Im waving hello to you.
Gus: I read you received an afghan and Im so happy for you. I was sorry to hear your having problems with your little boy - and hoping things get better. Wrap yourself in it as its full of love from many.
Well my usual week-end routine is to get up early, post to everyone and then go back to bed for a nap. And thats where Im headed. See ya all later.

Congratulations Neesie on the birth of your precious grandson!!!
Love and Hugs,
Charlene
-
CONGRATULATIONS NEESIE!!! Blake William is such a great name. Enjoy your beautiful grandson and know that you are just as special to him as he is to you!
Love and hugs!
Sue -
Neesie, I heard you're a grandma. Congratulations. Having grandkids is so much better than having kids! I love being a grandma.
Candie, the knifty knitter is a knitting machine of sorts - you twist the yarn onto it and it's supposed to be like knitting. I tried it and it didn't look like I was doing it right, but I think my problem is that I didn't do a big enough square. Of course, now I have to find it first to be able to figure out the problem.
Nicki, I think the worst of the weather is past us. It's still supposed to rain today but I don't think it's anything like we've had the past few days. The boys that Ryan played football with are the Tonga brothers and they play for BYU. It is exciting. The exercise ball exercises are not hard at all, that's what's so good about them, so do them.
Peter, I still copy and paste....old habits die hard.
Ok, have to go read elsewhere. Take care all.
