I just wanted to send a gentle hug, we all pretty much started out this way....I was stage 3 B with a 12 cm mass in my breast....

It has been snowing here this morning and my sister and I walked to the local shops oohing and ahhing at the beauty, came home covered in snow - what a novelty it is for us! The locals probably thought we were both mad. We have been choosing baby clothes for my niece's baby - due in Feb.

I love the idea of the ski lodge - or a tropical island. It's fun imagining such things. Must buy a lottery ticket too.

Don't complain, Sue.  My oldest is now into Linkin Park, Insane Clown Posse, and Papa Roach.  Good LORD!!!!!  She does enjoy some rap too, but mainly that horrible heavy metal garbage.  I liked AC/DC in high school, but that was about as heavy metal as I ever got.

I'm so sorry you're feeling so miserable today, sweetie.  Chemo is such a nasty bugger.....Almost as bad as the damn cancer itself.  Just take tomorrow off if you're feeling horrible.  How on earth will you be able to function if you're that sick??

I guess I should at least listen to Linkin Park's music before I judge .  If you like it, I guess it can't be that bad.  The others though--I can't get past the album covers!  They're downright satanic looking!!

They had that song playing on the radio at work today and I thought what a great song for all of us on this thread.  It was a perfect fit! 

I am sorry to  hear the fatigue is getting to you.  Just listen to your body and do what it tells you.

gb - if you are still in Ontario, you will have fun with the BIG snow storm we are supposed to get this weekend.  We haven't had this much snow (and so early) in years.  Very fun!

I'm giggling thinking of us (some with our bald heads) sitting somewhere warm at a resort together! 

I think it's more of a snow storm than ice (and ice is worse for sure). 

Blue Mountain is in the "snow belt" as they call it.  They get a lot of lake-effect snow.  Are you going skiing?  I think we are supposed to get about 30 cms (1 foot) of snow on Sunday.  If this storm does come, it might be better to come back to Burlington on Monday when the roads have been cleared.

I can't believe you are in Burlington!  I'm in Oakville...just down the QEW!

Hi Sue! How ya doin sweetie? Hope your getting some much needed rest. Been thinkin' about you and hoping the chemo SEs are lessening for you. Hows David and Daniel doing? Do they do any Christmas shopping? Most of the schools here hold a "Santa's Workshop" and they sell little gifts the kids can buy for there family members. I remember doing that when I was a little girl and then I helped with one when Adam was little. Its so cute , the kids get so excited that they bought gifts for mom and dad. Karen, I love your tree! And Chase is such a darlin'. I remember Adam with that cheesy smile at that age too. They all do that , and us moms all say the same thing ,"just smile normal , puh-lease!!"lololol xxxx

gb and Momma Mia , we are suppose to get the storm here in Ohio too. I hope not a foot though! But I am in the "snowbelt" , being by lake Erie. I was gonna get up early and do some shopping.
