Ohhhhh Felicia-- where for art thou Felicia?

Felicia, I liked Evangeline, but thought the writers/producers never utilized Renee Goldberry's (sp?) talents enough. She's such a great actress and there was so much potential for storyline. I liked her best with RJ and hoped for a good girl turning the bad boy around story. I thought Vangie and Christian were a big yawn and didn't warm up to her with John either. I thought she needed someone edgier like Rex, David or RJ. I also thought the Layla/Vangie relationship was a nice normal one-- a rarity in soapland.

Mrs. Bachelor Bob is back in the Fusion business. Rebecca Budig will reclaim the role of All My Children's Greenlee starting January 16. Also, Daytime Emmy winners Debbi Morgan and Darnell Williams are returning as Angie and Jesse Hubbard on Jan. 18 and 25, respectively - this despite the fact that Jesse famously died in his wife's arms a bazillion years ago and has since made several ethereal visits as a ghost.

"We are giving the fans what they've been asking for - Rebecca returns as Greenlee and a beloved super-couple have a second chance," says ABC Daytime boss Brian Scott Frons. "Fans can look forward to Greenlee's storyline developing around her business, her friendships and her love life. Angie and Jesse made an eternal imprint on... viewers, and many fans will not believe he's alive." Seriously - his ghost even gave Pine Valley that "magic box" one Christmas!

When Budig returns to the role she created, Greens is suddenly stricken down by a mysterious illness. That brings Angie back to Pine Valley Hospital to consult on Greenlee's case as well as that of a "secret patient." It all leads to what ABC calls "the most shocking reunion of all time: after 20 years, Angie will reunite with Jesse."

Actually I don't. I think they're trying to put closure on her character so Christian can move on. I think if they were gearing up to bring back the character I wouldn't have moved her out of Llanview to her mother's house.

I'm kind of worried they're going to get rid of Layla too, who will go home to be nearer to Evangeline.

Good point Felicia-- Christian moving on will surely be a reason for Evangeline to snap out of that coma. I agree that the producers were foolish to let her go but figure it might have been a blessing in disguise for her because she can sing, dance and act so maybe the soap wasn't stretching her abilities as much as  she needed to spread her wings and fly. I don't think they utilized her talents as much as they should have.

Not so much Felicia. Viki went back to a drunk Charlie who admitted he only wanted to get sober for his son. She encouraged him to do it for himself. Shane brought home a bad report card that said he doesn't like to read. Marcy encouraged him to read a pirate book and said she missed teaching. Rex talked to Michael in jail about getting engaged to Adriana. Mike asked Rex to go to Paris, TX to talk to "Sally Ann" (Gigi) and see if she knew anything about Marcy. You probably have read somewhere that Gigi is Rex's ex so that should be exciting. Apparently he when he left his aunt Corrine's house in Michigan to come to Llanview he broke up with her before she could tell him she was pregnant. Melissa Gallo's (Adriana's) contract is up and she's expected to be off the canvas in January. Did you know she married David Fumero (Christian) in December?

Natalie and John commiserated about spending a drunken night and sleeping together to get over their romantic woes. Nash and Jessica have a plan to "welcome" Jared into the family. Jess apparently wants to invoke "Tess" to come back and toy with him to get the truth.

I can't remember anything else.

I had guessed Jared was the father. I never thought of Rex. I knew Gigi had to be tied to someone in Llanview.

We've been doing everything so out of order that I don't really know what is going on and I'm there almost everyday. Since Melissa and David went on a honeymoon, we've been saving many of their scenes until the end of January. We've been working on about 16 episodes simultaneously, so it's confusing. I'm not sure how it all fits together.

An old character is back for awhile. Do you remember crazy "Allison"?

Now we have 2 weeks off, and when we get back we'll be finishing off all those episodes and working on the "Red Ball", you know, one of those charity extravaganzas that will air around Valentine's Day.

OLTL watchers--I might have to miss on thursday if my vcr doesn't work so if anyone sees the show can I please have a recap? Thanks

Well girls, I too love OTL and have watched it a good long time.

I love Rex he has such a sense of humor.  Too bad about the ring, but I think if he paid $2000.00 for it - Michael should be giving that money back.  The fact that gigi's son could be Rex's son and that will be the driving force for Adriana's "leaving town" upsets me. 

Jarad is a scum, but I like drunk charley and vicky together. 

 Like to see the teenagers interacting, but wish Dorian would "get a life".  Like John and Natalie together, but that will never last - cause she is a twit- lol.  Lets see what happens as they corner Marcie and the standoff unfolds.
