Thanks for the recap Felicia. It sounds like Monday should be a good show.

It's gonna take me a while to get used to the new Michael
, but the actor who plays him seems up to the task. I hope everyone is either watching or has their tivos, vcrs or dvd recorders working. I can tell this is going to be a great one.
-
The new Michael is just so...different. I miss Nathanial already...
What do you think happened to Cole? Where did the FBI guy disappear to?!?
Think Charlie will have a drink? Think he will call Vicky?
Who's Dorian going to tell about Charlie and Jared?
And Matthew got a hair cut! Hallelujah!! -
The new Michael reminds me of one of the guys who played Joey.
-
The plot thickens. I hope Charlie doesn't drink, but worry he will. Maybe Doreen won't tell anyone for a while, they love to drag things out on the soaps.
I read somewhere that Marty dies, although it probably means she "dies" aka is presumed dead until she reappears. I also read a rumor that the old Marty is coming back and that's why Christina Chambers was let go, but this is just a rumor. They wanted her back originally when Chambers was hired, but Susan Haskell was pregnant and about to give birth.
-
I like Matthew's haircut. At least, now he has a 'style'. He looks terrific.
-
How funny is David with Todd Jr. Tuc is such a gem-- he steals every scene and doesn't even have to say a word.
-
Missed it today. Anything juicy go on?
-
It was a bit slow yesterday. Tuesdays and thursdays often seem to be. I wish I had known before, I would have taken notes. The biggest thing i remember is Jared slipping David's hair into the dna test envelope.
-
Ok - I had another doc appointment today (GYN) and missed the first few minutes. When I tuned in, Cole and John were on a plane returning to the states. What the heck happened to Marty and the FBI guy?!?
-
While John was rescuing Cole, they heard an explosion and the car Marty in was on fire. When John left her to look for Cole, she was hurt/trapped and couldn't move, so they assume she was still in the car when it burned. (I'm betting she's still alive
)I'm not sure about the FBI guy.

-
Thanks, Pat. I saw the scenes for today's episode and John and the FBI guy get into a sort of fist fight, so I'm thinking he's still alive. I agree with you about Marty, though: she's not dead...
-
Yes, I don't think Marty is dead either. Poor cool, losing both of his parents to terrorism. I wonder if Todd will adopt Cole-- out of his guilt feelings for raping Marty--- naaaah-- I hope John does, though.
-
I loved the David/Vickie scenes yesterday. They are almost as charming as the David/Dorian scenes. LOL @ 'want to play diner?' Kudos to the writers for writing some great lines lately.
Please please please give Todd his son back soon. I can't believe even Vickie betrayed Todd about this. They have spent years building Todd up as a great father. Come on...let him have his baby back.
-
I think David brings out the best (acting) in everyone he works with. I sometimes forget what happened on what day after I watch the show. What do you guys think about the new Michael? I really miss Nathaniel Marston in the role. He has a website http://www.nathanielmarston.net but there haven't been any recent updates on how he's doing.
-
I actually like the new Michael. He's really jumped into the part.
-
I think he's a great actor and I like him-- it's just hard for me to see him as Michael. Everytime I see him I have to remind myself that he's Michael.
-
Did anyone see it Friday?!?! It was good - but I don't want to spill anything in case you missed it. The last two minutes were incredible...
-
Please spill! I had a friend over helping me hang things and the show was on in the background. I caught most of it but missed the end.
-
Cole, distraught and almost completely out of it, happens upon John and the FBI guy on the waterfront. He hears John accuse FBI guy of being responsible for Marty's death because he shot out the tires. They fight, someone's gun drops and Cole picks it up. He tells the FBI guy that he's gotta pay for killing his mom. John tells him to hand over the gun because his mom and dad didn't raise him to be vengeful or a killer. The FBI guy starts to goad him ("You don't know how to shoot that, son."), and John punches FBI guy in the mouth so Cole won't shoot him (told you he was an idiot!!). The FBI guy gets up, Cole cocks the gun but John steps in between Cole and FBI guy, telling Cole he'll have to shoot him first. Cole is almost hysterical and screams at John to get out of the way so he won't get hurt.
While all this is going on, Miles, Natalie, Jessica and Nash find out from Bo (via phone - after he's touched base with the state department) that because of the explosion, there is no body to recover. Miles freaks and leaves the house to get some air. Natalie wants to go with him, but Vicky convinces her to let him go on his own.
Guess where he ends up? Right on the waterfront! He sees Cole, moves from behind the FBI guy to ask him to put the gun down and gets shot in the chest (right side, though). Drops like a very slow sack of potatoes. Fade to black...
I wonder if he is dead?!? -
Thanks Felicia-- I saw the part where Cole was threatening the FBI guy, but not where John stepped in front of him and Miles was shot. If Miles is dead, it wouldn't really have a big impact on the characters except for Cole being in trouble for shooting him. He would be a good person for collateral damage. I wonder if Miles survives and the shooting is part of his redemption, if he forgives Cole and says it was an accident.
I wonder if Cole and Langston will bond over being orphans and that will cause a rift between Langston and Star and Cole and Star. It'll be interesting since Langston is now a Cramer girl. I also wonder who is going to get custody of Cole. Marty would probably want Nora or John, if she had made a will.
-
One more thing, how long do you think it'll take for Charlie to find Vicki in Llanview? I hope not long.
Last thing I saw with Michael was when he was banging on the door with Marcy and Gigi inside.
-
I don't believe Marty is dead. Just a hunch
-
I don't think anyone believes she's dead AH!
-
LMAO @ Janet Dillon
"hi I'm Janet Dillon...the hostess with the mostest!"
I'm so glad to see Janet from another Planet back on the show!
-
Janet is a hoot. I'm glad they caught on to Richie's scheme on AMC.
Another great OLTL show. I can't believe how mean Marcie is being by not telling Michael she was hiding in the bathroom. I could never do that to someone. How about Todd saying on Friday's episode that Tommy might have been better staying with the McBains. OMG, the police are at the door-- maybe the gig is up.
Not my door, the show, I'm watching and typing.
-
Amy -- do we need to send bail money?! LOL
-
I missed it again today. What happened?!?
-
I'm not as good at this as you Felicia. Michael knocked at the door where Marcy, Gigi and Tommy were. Marcy pretended no one was there but Tommy said Dada and Michael heard. She went into the bathroom to hide and Gigi answered the door and pretended she was Gigi's friend (Marcy). As Gigi heard Michael declare his love for Marcy, we see her crying in the bathroom and it looks like she's going to come out, until there is a knock on the door and it's the police.
Cole climbed through Star's window and told her what he did, he thinks he killed Miles. Langston had gone downstairs to say goodnight to Dorian, who had been flirting with David. It looks like they'll renew their romance, but since we know he's not staying-- who knows.
John tried to revive Miles and called 911,meanwhile the FBI guy went to Dorian's to try to find Cole.
I can't remember if there was anything else.
-
Thanks for the update, Amy. So wait - Cole just turned and ran after shooting Miles?!?
I caught the last 20 minutes or so on Tuesday - just in time to see the police cuff Michael and take him away and Natalie (who is REALLY getting on my nerves) whisper something to Miles as he is wheeled off to surgery then turn and ask John (who was in scrubs - why?) who could have shot Miles.
Maybe there will be another tornado to wipe out all the annoying whiners...
