G'night Sue! I wear a sleep cap to bed. It's cotton and looks like a really thin stocking cap. It keeps my big 'ol dumbo ears warm. LOL!!!!!
Hugs to you all,
Karen
-
Mia, my stubble started falling out after my second round of chemo. I still have a little, but I'm mostly smooth as a baby's bottom.
Hugs,
Karen
-
Sue - YOU DID IT!!!! I'm sooo proud of you!!! I'm sorry I wasn't here to support you but by the looks of things you didn't need my support. As usual, your sisters rallied around you and you were able to do it. Doesn't it feel better???
I spent the afternoon at a luncheon with other members of the board that all live in NJ. We had a great time. It never ceases to amaze me how strong we all are.
The snow some of you are having is definitely heading this way. It's a bit early in the seaon for us. I'm just glad its happening on the weekend - I'll be snuggling by the fire tomorrow with a nice cuppa, as Sue would say.
Nitey, nite Sue talk to you all tomorrow,
Valerie
-
Hi Sueps...I finally logged in after a rough week. This second round was not fun. After I pulled most of mine out and put it in a bag, I shaved off the rest, too. Having just a few patches left did look horrible.
ok gals...How white is your head? Guess mine has never seen the light of day!
Karen - glad to know it will eventually be smooth. Lots of the stubble keeps falling out but there is enough that it feels yucky without a hat.
Have a good night everyone. We are in for a snow storm here (just outside of Toronto, Canada). Kind of fun, since I know I don't have to go anywhere.
Mia
-
Hi Mia , yes my scalp was very white too! But I had very dark stubble. I used a lint roller to pick up the stubble that was falling out. Yea , a snow storm is nice if you don't have anywhere to go. Enjoy
-
It was a bit tense driving home from work. Now I have to go out and pick up my daughter from her job at Subway in about 20 minutes. -
Sue, your o/h is right - I'll bet you do look cute! I'm sorry you have to go through this but so glad you have so many others here who have supported you and know how you feel.
Mommy Mia, - hi! I am in Burlington, Ontario, staying with my niece and her husband and am so excited about the snow and I love this deliciously cold weather.
Hugs to everyone.

gb , so good to hear from you. I am so glad you are have a great time. Get some rest.xxxxx Melody
-
Go for it Suzie!
You seem like you are petite so I bet you have a very pretty head. Me I have what my lot call a fat head! (aren't they horrible to me!)
Try and see it as a positive thing Sue, at the moment you are loosing you hair, once you have shaved (in the words of Yazz) the only way is up!
Great song on youtube!

Sorry Sue just noticed you already shaved.....
Good on ya! -
Good morning ladies!! Hi Sue...how is your head feeling this morning? I bet much better than before. Well...we didn't get the snow yet...just allot of freezing rain!; Snow is coming tonight! I am off to a huge craft show they have here every year. The only thing I am searching for is an ornament for my youngest. Every year I get them an ornament that relates to something from that year, something that happened etc. Well my youngest got her drivers licens this year...so I am looking for a car ornament. I had no problem with the older two, when they were 16, but so far, no luck. Wish me luck!! Talk to all of you later. Have a great day. Sue, enjoy your day off!! xoxo Lisa
