My niece is doing her internship at University hospital.  She actually has been working recently with PS's.

Haha...uncle fester...too funny...that is what I used to say!! I told my youngest...I am going to dress like him to pass out my halloween candy this year!  My hair is really coming in now, and my eyelashes and brows are almost all there! 

When did you have your surgery?  I am thinking about the Tram flap.  I am not sure if my ps does the diep.  How did all of that go for you?  Did you have it done when you had your mastectomy?

Big difference with the diep vs the tram flap is that they do not use the stomach muscle correct?  I will have my right breast (good one) lifted to make everything asymetrical.  He said about 3 months later I could have my tatoo done.

Being single and missing so much work makes this so much more difficult. I will be using some of my vacation days to get some pay during that long period off of work.

  But I am hoping by next summer...I will be feeling..."normal" again!

Actually...my daughters kept telling me, and my dad..that at least I have a nice shaped head...so I didn't look so bad..haha.

That is only because I am at a different stage of this horrid cancer than you are.  You are not stuck!!  It was the same for me when I was going through my tx's!  Trust me...it will pass, and you will be making plans and talking and organizing the same as me...after your tx's are done.

We all have to move forward through this....u will too...I know that..you have the same drive and spunk in you as I do! 

A year from now...we will all be talking of our journey as a thing of the past...and how good we feel, etc.  Then we will plan our get together to meet!!  I love to plan things...haha

the picture I saw when I googled UF...he had a lightbulb in his mouth..haha...so when sue said..about grinding her teeth..that's the first thing I thought of!

actually...I can say that the only thing that I have dipped into, is my iced tea.  I am working...so no spiked egg nog here! lol...jay leno bald...omg....I am going to have an accident if I don't hurry to the restroom!

You know, I have kind of a protruding chin too.  Yikes!!!  I really do have a miniature version of the Jay Leno head!  Hope you didn't pee your pants, Lisa!!!!

I'm off to wrap a b-day gift for my little niece.  She's having her first birthday party today.  She's cute as a bug!!  Take care girls and stay out of that eggnog (you sure no one spiked your iced tea when you weren't looking, Lisa?).
