Just wanted to say thank you

At this time of thanksgiving, I wanted to take a minute to thank all of you girls here at bco for helping me get through this past year.
I know that my new cancer is nothing compared to what our dear metsters have to endure. But you all reached out to me when I needed you the most and really talked me through some pretty scary stuff. I just wanted you to know how thankful i am for all the connections I have made with my sisters here.
I also want to thank Tami and Melissa for riding out the storm of the board changeover. I cannot imagine what it was like for you when all the changes took effect and we all had our own reactions to them and let you know loud and clear how we felt!
You two have been very supportive of all of us and of me and it takes a lot to do what you do and I thank you.
And thank you to Dr. Weiss. I wish she would post here sometime. I would love to "talk" to her. But in absence of that I will just write here that I am grateful for this wonderful place you have provided for all of us.
Thanks to all of you. You made this past year a heck of a lot easier and for that I am grateful.
Happy Thanksgiving!

And blessings to you for saying how we all feel, but you said it so very well.

G, you are such a sweetie! Thanks should go also to you for being here with us, offering a hand, helpful information and insight to so many. Gracias to one of my fellow sisters from the Great State of NY!

Amen! I am thankful for still being around, all the wonderful support that I have gotten here over the last 3 years.
p.s. sorry we never got a chance to met up in NY!

G, You do say so elequently what many of us are thinking. I am so thankful for all who are on these boards and have helped me through the past 7 months.
Thanks also for Dr Weiss for creating this wonderful site for 'sisters' to gather and share information.

It is nice to stop and reflect. I am grateful for so much this year. When I was so scared in the beginning, I just lurked and learned. When I needed info to clarify tests/doctors/etc., so many have helped. Thanks. God bless you all.

Adding my thanks to all of you and Dr. Weiss as well.
I wrote to the "Oprah Winfrey Show" and requested that they have Dr. Weiss on as a guest. I would love to see her interviewed. Maybe if you think of it when you are at Oprah.com??

Great thread! This was and is still my favorite place to be on the Internet. Other cancer sites do not compare, in my opinion.
