Hi Sue
! Double smiles cause your feeling better! Tender is right , watch the sore thorat , mine was sore alot , like I was gonna get sick , but I never did. And I don't want you to get sick either. Keep washing your hands.
Don't some people just blow your mind!?! What are they thinking? I know , we all have put our "foot in our mouths" before. But if I know someone is going through a rough time , I certainly wouldn't add to there fear/pain in order to relate to them my knowledge of a disasterous ending for whatever the situation is. Some people just don't think. Perhaps this person was a "foot in mouth" moment and will come back and apoligize...
Sue , 1000 posts! Wow. We love you so much. And we either have alot of insight and knowledge , or we loveeeeeeee to talk!lol
You crack me up. 4 subways! Wow , I guess you were a hungry girl!
Well , I hope the gargle helped and you didn't scare Zippy-toto to bad. Get some rest Dorothy. The emerald city is one more day closer! Hugs and love to you and your boys.xxx
-
Hi Sue,
Just wanted to say goodnight sweetheart! Hope you have a deep, soothing sleep and wake up feeling better. That sore throat sounds a pain. Please look after yourself - so glad you are having the day off tomorrow. (It's already tomorrow here - lol!)
Hope everyone else is having an enjoyable weekend.
love,
gb

Just on that negative thing. When I told my neighbour earlier this year, she immediately told me about all the people she knew who had died from cancer. Funny, because most of the people I know who had cancer are still alive and well! My first cousin had breast and colon cancer well over 20 years ago and she is still dancing on tables and being wild! Some people just like to be miserable and bring you down with them.

Karen , congrats on being the 1000th poster!
Heres my hug (((((Karen))))).And I love Tinker and her new hat , even if she doesn't.lol What a cutie.
Hi Lisa. Hope your having a good evening. We are having rain right now. I can't believe it , cause it is so cold here today I thought for sure it would be snowing.
Shirlann! Arrrrr , our matey at sea. Can't wait until your back telling us of your adventures.xxx
Hi Karyll! Thanks for sending the positive energy. Yes , What a great group we have here. Lots of sharing and caring. Hope your having a good weekend.
Hi Valerie , my hair is salt and pepper too. It seems to be growing pretty fast , but its to short to tell if it is going to be curly or not. Could you tell right away that it was curly? I am hoping for straight hair. I don't do curls well!lol Sounds like your hair grew really fast. I can't wait for my first hair cut. Take care. Melody xxx
-
Hi gb. Wow , your cousin , dancing on tables and being wild. My kind of gal.lol Tell her i said "you go girl"! Have a great day. xx Melody
-
Soon, we will all be dancing on tables!! haha
No rain here Melanie...at least that I know of...I am inside at work.
My hair is a little over an inch long, very, very salt and pepper! The dark hair is straight, but the gray...somewhat curly. Just a different texture in general, as gray hair is. Mine is growing pretty fast as well. I am taking that multi everyday! My daughters swear it helped their hair grow faster! haha.
I am hoping by next month to color it, and a possible shaping with the scissors! yeah..that will be great!!
This thread sure has had allot of response, especially since it only started a little over 2 months ago!!
Keep it up ladies!!
A good evening to all!
Lisa
-
Please do not let the despair take you over. I have been reading the responses to you and you have people out there who care about what is happening to you. Go to the nearest hospital if you can and get someone to help you. Do you have someone near by that can stay with you and let you get some rest?
-
Melody...I want one !! LOL...what is that cute animal...
Well I am signing in to say I am having a baaaaaaaaddd day .... sore everywhere...lack lustre hair...sore spots in mouth....an appetite that won't go away...and general ...... arghhhhhhhh ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH and then some!

Hi Sue
! I'm sorry your still feel not so good. Hang on tight. A couple more days and you should start feeling better. Honestly , usually after the sixth day , you start to feel better.
Its a baby pig! I just love piggys. They make me laugh. There is a story behind my love for piggys. So when ever I see one , it just makes me smile. I thought it might make everyone smile.
I hope you had a relaxing day off Sue. Take care. Can you have a cuppa? I hope so. xxx Melody
-
Sue, I'm so sorry you are still feeling knocked in a heap and hope that you will start to feel better soon. I love your pic - don't change it!
I love little piggies too! That is so cute! I fell into a pig pen when I was a kid and the big mother pig chased me - did I move fast! I went to a pet expo a week ago and cuddled so many animals from snakes to alpacas and the pigs were SO funny.
Many healing hugs,
gb
-
gb xxxxx I am crashed out with my laptop ...dreaming of going to Manchester and getting a flight over to Australia to come cya ....you can take me to all the wonderful animal places....and we can share big tearful hugs of warmth and happiness....
I have 2 goals in my life that are important to me.... to finish bringing my boys up and to come and pay visits to the most bravest and kindest people I have ever come across. My boys are safe here and my piggy bank is building up ...in the meantime I am focusing on getting through this because I want to live so much ..... and to support others in years to come ....and be friends with each and everyone of you for eternity xxxx
Much Love xxx

Great goals, Sue, and you'll get to reach them! You're knocking this bootface down, one day at a time. We know chemo is tough, I'm amazed you've done as much as you have, and hopeful too that in a day or so, you'll feel better again.
Thinking of you and all undergoing treatment,
Tender -
Sue,
I hope you are fast asleep and dreaming of little piggies!!
I just love the goals you set. The rate your going I do not see a problem in obtaining them. You have all ready started helping our sisters here and your boys will be adults before you know it!!!
Hope you make it to the wig shop, but don't stress if you don't. You still have time!!
Stay strong,
Valerie

Hi Precious Sue, I am home!
Oh Sue, that was the most precious post. I am printing it and putting it in MY bra. You are so dear, I guarantee you, we will be together, and not that far away. I cannot live my life out without a hug and a pint with you!
We had a good time, the activities director (and most of the crew) are British, and we had a right good time teasing them and them having fun with our accents!
Maybe, just maybe, we could all go on a cruise when all our dear sisters are feeling good again, it is not that expensive. Well, once you get to San Diego.
Anyway, I will post pix when I get unpacked and get to Fumi, our computer genius, whithout her, I can't do a thing. Well, I wrote on the screen once with magic markers, but it did not WORK.
So, sweet Sue, just remember, each one done is DONE!!!
Love you honey, Shirlann
-
Oh my gosh! Melody, that pig is DARLING!! I love pigs too. They are just the funniest things!
Sue, I can pretty much guarantee you that tomorrow you'll be on the upswing. Day 5 has always been the hardest for me. I'm so glad you had the day off.
The appetite thing is horrible, isn't it? I've been eating like a horse! I'm going to gain a ton of weight before this is over.
I hope you're resting well. Take good care and don't go to work tomorrow if you're feeling really badly again.
Love and hugs,
Karen
PS Welcome home, Shirlann!!! We missed you!

Hi Sue,
I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling better.
I found that sucking on ice chips whilst I was having the chemo infusions really helpful in preventing mouth ulcers. They really made a huge difference. That and avoiding
I have loved catching up on your posts - they have really made me smile today - I really needed it!!!
hugs & kisses from the land down under!!!

Hi Sue! I'm thrilled that you're feeling better! Your cheerful, positive attitude makes me SOOOO happy!!
Both my wigs are adjustable, so I can tighten them up and they fit pretty snug. I also wear a wig liner which gives the top of my head a little more volume and makes the wigs fit a bit tighter. They also fit better now that I've shaved my head, though I'm sure you're not ready to do that quite yet.
Keep those spirits up, Sue! Life is good--we forget that sometimes when we're going through an ordeal like this. I'm finding myself actually looking forward to the holidays and I honestly thought I'd barely be able to get through them this year.
Love and hugs,
Karen
PS Please do save me some soup!! You know how much I love it!!!!

Great to hear you more upbeat Sue
I'm ok, I have a lot of fluid still on my back, it seems to be getting bigger every day. I had a shower today and caught a glimps in the full length mirror, not a pretty sight but then again to be fair it wasnt that great before cancer. LOL
I shouldn't be moaning you have your own crap to deal with....
I wanted to get out for a short walk today but as you said the weather here so bad. I dont think it has stopped raining for the last three days!
I'll feel better after I get my final results on Wednesday, hopefully the all clear, cured, see ya later!
Again Im so glad that you are feeling better
Poppy
