    Hi Karyll,

Just to let you know that your calculations are spot on! Smile

I did not hear from Sue before she went to hospital, so perhaps she will contact me by phone later and give me some news. Until then like you, and all our sisters on this site, I am holding her in my heart for a good outcome and recovery.

    Big hugs everyone,

    Valerie S

I'm thinking of you too, Sue. By the time you read our posts, it'll be done...YAY! Now breathe a big sigh of relief, sit back with us and chat for awhile. It's time for some healing!

Sue, you were the first thing I thought of when I awoke this morning.  It's over!!!  Your healing journey is now beginning.  How relieved you must be feeling.  I'm anxious to hear from either you or Val.  Take care.  We're all with you in spirit.

    Love and Hugs,

    Karen

Sue, I've been following your journey closely and want you to know that I actually laid awake in bed last night sending you the best possible thoughts I could.  We're all anxious to hear your report--and relieved that you have moved on to the healing.

    Best,

    D1

    Hi darling Sue!

When you read this, you are sitting up, using your hands, and KNOW this thing is over. Whew! Just wanted to drop you a note and tell you that so many good wishes and prayers have been sent to you, England is in serious danger of tipping slightly from the weight of love and concern!

Can't wait to talk to you.

    Love, Shirlann

Yay Sue - you did it! All these agonising weeks are over. I am so relieved for you. Now you must concentrate on resting and healing. When you leave hospital, be easy on yourself and don't try to do too much too soon.

I am so looking forward to reading your first post.

    Love & extremely gentle hugs,

    gb

The huge sigh of relief from the US alone might hit England with record winds. Be careful.

This American will be recovering along with you.

My heart has been with you, and will continue to be.

Hugs to you and also to your boys.

Yes, Sue, rest comfortably and assuredly. Your family and friends are at your bedside and with your darling boys.

Your doctors are looking, probing, testing, and determining the clues to their next step.

Your Prime Minister spoke yesterday of making the NHS a more personal place, a more humane place-hopefully without such long patient waits.

    And your court awaits you!

Keeping you so close in my heart and mind.

    Tender

    Hi Melody,

I use Photobucket for my smileys. It's a free and reliable image hosting service.

When I find a smiley I like, I save it in a folder on my computer. Then I go to Photobucket and upload it. Under the picture in Photobucket are three types of URL. I copy the basic URL.

I have a little free program called SmileyPad. I open it and add the URL I just copied from Photobucket.

Over time, a lot accumulate if you're like me!

Any time I want to use a smiley, I open SmileyPad. There they all are. On some message boards I just drag the smiley and drop it in my message.

That doesn't work on this board. Here, I copy the URL from SmileyPad, then click on the little green icon at the top of the message composition window,  right next to the smiling face. It opens a popup where I paste the URL.

It's a lot easier than it sounds! If you need more help with doing this, PM me. I'd be glad to get you going.

Geebung, the posts are still there.  They are just squished over to the far right for some reason.  Use the bottom scroll bar to scroll over to see them.

Sue, lovey, get out of the hospital, tell them you have American friends that won't leave you alone, and you have to get out or they will cause a raucus riot!

    Love you, sweetie, Shirlann

Oh - I am such a technoklutz! Yes, scrolled across and there you all are - way over there at the side!

I wonder when we will hear about/from Sue?

Welcome  Cyndie. I wonder why your avatar did that? Mine was quite big originally and it scaled itself down when I used it as an avatar. Strange.

Now I am getting a little worried.  I hope and pray nothing went wrong in the hospital.  Maybe in England they keep patients longer than they do here.  They throw you out here one hour after surgery, hahaha, its not that bad YET!

Anyway, if you read this Sue, keep getting better, we are all standing on the pier (mentally) looking toward England, and we promise we won't throw anymore tea in the ocean, if you will just let us know you are fine.

    Love, Shirlann

    Hi,

Just a thought - when I had my bi-lateral mastectomy, I was still pretty ga-ga for a couple of days on the pain meds - I know that they will probably have a couple of drains in place as well, so Sue will be feeling a little out of it... I was in hospital for 5 days after my surgery.

    Love
