Hi ladies, it's been a while since I last visited...

I've got a new hobby, it's called dragon boat racing,

found it in the magazine cancer and women,

Contacted Beverly and was practicing on one Sunday and entered a competition in Peachtree City Georgia the next Saturday

There were 21 boats entered in the competition including

WORLD GYM (with all of their muscled and buffed bodies)

To make a long story short

    WE KICKED BUTT

we won by less than a second but WE WON

It was exhilerating and fun, fun, fun and so much work

but it was an awesome thing to do,

There's not too many of these clubs in the states compared to Canada

If you have the time, and want to be part of a great team....

The majority of us paddlers are breast cancer survivors

with some hubbies and kids thrown in for good luck

Again, It's a wonderful work out and oh so much fun plus you get to meet other survivors that litke to have FUN

    peace out

    Vera

That is way cool evilelf!!  I was reading another thread about dragon boat racining in the fitness section.  I'd join one if one was in my area.  That is so cool that you won!

Hey! Evilelf--So, that's where you've been, getting BUFF!  Bet those arms are the size of hams by now!  I'd love to paddle, but with my arse, I'd sink the dang boat.
