Hi girls,
Madison..glad you received the squares! Sounds like you are swimming in them again!
Liz..how nice to offer your help! That would be so nice....and helpful to, I'm sure.
Hugs,
Denise
-
jenni good to see you, glad you have become a circle girl....missing those fresh avacado's....
Ok so who wants squares?....or should I send them to Liz to be bordered...?....
MB
-
MB, if you send them to Liz to border she will have to pay the postage to mail the package to me. If she can border them, it would help. Postage is so expensive, I really don't feel like I can ask this of her or anyone else to bear the expense of postage.
Liz, your package of squares arrived yesterday. Thank you dear giggle sister -
hi ya'll
I want to let you know. the lessons at pinkstock helped a lot but i was still making triangle rectangles. I accidently brought home someone else's rectangle and have been studying it. I think I am almost there. I can almost double crochet. keep your fingers crossed.
-
Send squares to me to border. I will be mailing some to Madison and Vickie anyway. I'm happy I can help Madison and Vickie out and it relieves some of the stress they put on themselves. Besides, my aunt and mom are starting to help border also. Soooo there's three of us doing it now.
If anyone needs my address just let me know.
Hugs
-
Liz,

The afghan pictured above was delivered to it's new owner today. Darleen is having computer problems and can't post. She started treatment today...
This is the message from Binney:
So... Can you PLEASE convey Darleen's thanks to the Afghan Circle gals? As soon as her computer virus is fixed she'll be along to thank you herself. She called today , her voice wavering because she was so moved. UPS came and handed her a package. She couldn't remember ordering anything so she was puzzled. She started to read the note with it, got as far as the part where it says it's from the Afghan Circle women and dissolved into tears. She had to give the note to her husband to read aloud, while she pulled out the afghan and wrapped it around herself. It's beautiful, the colors are wonderful, every square special. But most of all as she goes today for her first radiation treatment for bc mets, she's just so grateful to know she's not walking in there alone. Thanks to EVERY ONE OF YOU SISTERS for being there with her today, and moving forward with her through this next round of treatment. God bless the work of your hands, and BE WELL, Binney
Darleen, we are so happy you have the afghan....it is full of warmth and hugs from us all...

You all are so great for doing this.
-
For any that are checking out this thread. I have to tell you I recived an afgan several months ago and I still get very emotional every time I wrap up in it like I am right now. I was having a down kinda day and am home alone. except I'm not, I'm wrapped in the arms of every sister that helped make this afgan! I can feel their love and their embrace through all the miles between us.
Please send Madison or Vickie the names and addresses of any sister that needs a hug so we can make one of the afgans to share our love and hugs with them.
