I was going thru my journal and this is what I found today:

Yep! That's what she said. She is 3 and a half years old and came up with that excuse as to why she cannot wear Pull-Ups with her nightgown.
I have no idea where she got that idea that she could ever ever look fat!!!!! I truly think she has heard me say something or her dad when we have gotten dressed or something. But she certainly thought that would get her out of wearing pull-ups and have me allow her to just wear her panties to bed. I did ask her tonight if she thought she was fat and she said no and volunteered that I was not either, "but Daddy's a little bit fat," she said. He he.

That's funny! You need to make a little book of Teryn quotes - can leave it out for her dates in a few years!

I never kept a journal but wish I had - the kids sure came up with some gems when they were younger!

Janis, I have no idea but they must watch us or see it on tv. I do know that she does not have a problem with any overweight people in her life. She has never mentioned anything about one of her dearly loved day-care providers.

Well, my granddaughter said something about me being "old." I asked her why she thought I eas old. She said, Because old people have big tummies and something about boobs. I told her I need to "lose" this big tummy. LOL
