I saw it last night. It was an incredibly scary show. Even more so because these weren't mail order medications or off the internet. They were perfectly sealed and being sold in your everyday pharmacy. And one of the big targets for counterfiters
was Lipitor among others ---A truly scary show
Since its dateline It will probably be repeated on MSNBC
Worth your while. -
On Dateline they touched about a wife and mother who had cancer (did not say what kind), but......she had received some defected PROCRIT. I waited to hear more about her story.....but they didn't go into further on the show. I have not read the entire transcript because I saw the show. So...not sure as I write this if more info is given about this woman.
Anyway, there was lots of medications that China is sending this way. They also talked about terrorist using this as a way to kill. So far American Companies are putting chips on Oxycotin and I think Viagra(?). This will track the drug from the company to the pharmacy. I think this story is really going to get more traction in the Media this week, and hopefully out on the radio shows. More people need to be aware of this.
It is almost impossible for me to turn over an item in my house that doesn't say made in China. All of our laws that have been written to protect our food supply and everything else is at RISK! We will be living in a THIRD world country before you know it. Right back to the late 1890-1920's in regards to how we treat our food and our people! I AM VERY MAD OVER THIS! -
Hello, what is it going to take for us to stop importing from China?! I have nothing against the Chinese or doing trade with them, but obviously the US has a serious and dangerous problem when it comes to anything that we put in or on our bodies (or our animals' bodies). Time to start making stuff in the US again. It's not like costs aren't already inflated.

I'm getting really nervous about my vitamin suppliments I take. I've always been very careful to make sure they say Made In America. Now I read that they are made in America, but some of the ingredience are shipped from China. Don't know if I'm doing my body good by taking them or not now. Kate
