I was in the "just diagnosed" section of this board, tears and fears taking over me. I thought I was going to die. I was one of the lucky ones though. No chemo as my cancer was .7cm, grade 1 and no node involvement after they tested 10 of them. Originally, after my MRI, it was determined that I might have been stage 2.

One year and three surgeries later, the bilateral mast, exchange and nipple recon with tissue taken from my bikini line which was another huge scar, I feel good and am awaiting my one year tests. I had the last ones six months ago.

Cancer has made my cynical (sp?), but stronger and more determined to exercise, keep my weight down and enjoy life. I pray that all of us reach this point and stay there.
