Has anyone used this stuff? I see alot of it out lately but it doesn't seem normal to use. Also, I can't imagine it is healthy to use. It may be me, but has anyone used this bakeware? What do you think of it?

LuAnn, I agree with you entirely!
Truely, the stuff grosses me out!
No, I won't use it.They say it's wonderful, but--it's all rubbery and gooey, not even solid.Ewwww, I dont like it.
I wont use a silicone oven mitt either.
Yes, unnatural. -
I've never tried it a friend of mine says it's great. Healthy? That would interesting to look into. I can't understand how the stuff would go into my oven without spilling. I would need a good grip so nothing would spill out.

I did try cooking an angel food cake and it did not cook right at all. Rubbery in the middle and I threw it out!! I won't make that mistake again....

I read in the past to not even microwave in plastic ware even if it is approved (I think it was on Dr. Weil's page), so no, I would not use that stuff for even higher temperatures as in baking.
The government is so lax about regulating what's healthy or unhealthy, I follow my instincts.
It does feel unnatural, I totally agree. I do have teflon covered bakeware and pots and pans though and I am on the fence about that too.

I got silicone bake sheets from my bridal shower - I haven't used them yet - but they're pretty to look at - aqua blue

My sister gave me a muffin pan.
It doesn't melt or anything, but the muffins stick to it.
Plus I had to slip a baking sheet under it to get it out of the oven without feeling like it was going to bend.
I love my sister and appreciate the gift, but I'm sticking with my normal muffin pans! -
I've looked at it, but agree it looks kind of creepy, so I haven't gotten any bakeware. I would use a silicone oven mitt though, they have some designs with a separate thumb AND index finger. I need all the help I can get.

IT does look creepy. But I do have a bread pan. Great for meatloaf.

I have a silicone spatula. And I have a baster. It's much better than those with bristles. However, my baster is normally not used with heat. As far as the other cookware, I'm not impressed.

Nope! Won't use it! But then, I'm Ms. Greenpeace/Whole Foods warrior! I bake with some old ceramic stuff I got at Crate & Barrel waaaaaay back when when their stuff came in in barrels (and crates maybe???) and they listed the ship name and arrival date on a chalk board.....

I have a friend who uses it and she really likes it. I prefer my old fashioned metal, and most of mine is not nonstick.
