I just wanted to let you all know that a miracle has happened for me this week. I found out I am pregnant!!!!
Now, for the miracle. First of all I am 2 years out of chemo. When doing chemo, I went into chemopause but came out of it 6 months after treatment. Next, about a year ago, I had an endrometrial ablation (burning of the lining of the uterus) for heavy bleeding. After this surgery, the likelihood of getting pregnant decreases substantially. Now for the last thing, I'm just about to be 44 years old.
I cannot believe this. I always had trouble getting pregnant before my treatment and only have 1 child. This truly is a miracle.
What I really wanted to say to you all, is that I really believe with all my heart that the Lord cured me of cancer, and he wanted me to go on and have this miracle baby. I am so elated, I just had to share with you all. There is hope after cancer treatment and life can go on. I have something to focus on now other than "is the cancer coming back". What a blessing.
Anyways, I'll keep you posted. Please pray for me as this is a high/high risk pregnancy.
God is good!!!
Love to all,
Lillie
