Radiation and surgery

A few weeks ago I was looking for anyone who has had surgery after they had radiation on the same area--in my case my humerus bone. I really didn't get any answers, so I'm just writing to let you all know that I'm having my humerus bone plated tomorrow and will hopefully eventually have better use of my arm. I am able to type, but there are lots of things I now do lefthanded. So I'll let you know how this all plays out just in case some one else should encounter this question down the road. I'm actually almost excited to be having surgery! Well not quite excited! But it has been 16 months that I have been dealing with my arm in pain and not working properly.
