I need whoever's addy is going to laugh at my efforts the least! HA -
Marsha: CONGRATULATIONS! You are now an Official "Square!"
No one is gonna laugh at you...........send them off to the girls.............have you figured out how to weave the ends in yet? I gave up on that.......should really learn so Vickie and Madison don't have to do it all the time!!
Hugs,
Denise -
Hello!!! Hello!!!!
I mailed an afghan Tuesday, 2-day priority, via UPS ...I see by tracking it is "on time" for delivery this afternoon....
I am also hoping that Shel has been able to check her parcel at the postal service.....
I get nervous when these afghans are in boxes and not with their "huggees"....Afghan - "Hugger" Recipient - "Huggee"
WHEREFORE IT IS ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED, that every afghan (hereinafter referred to as "Hugger") must be placed in the possession of the recipient (hereinafter referred to as "Huggee") at the earliest possible moment.
Gotta go,
Love and hugs to all, Madison -
ROFLMBO...mailing one today ladies...will post pics tonight or in the morning.

Vickie, I think I have been sniffing way toooooo much yarn!!!!!!!!!

Madison and all the most wonderful sisters. UPS just made a delivery to my house - no big deal right as DH gets packages from work on a regular basis. I go outside and see that it is addressed to ME! So I look to see what I ordered as I didn't remember ordering anything and I see Madison's return address!!! OMG - an afghan for me!!!! I just started crying. I took it in the house and opened it and went into DH's office to show it to DH - he was on the phone, but nodded his head as if to say WOW. So a couple minutes later he comes in the house and asks if I am okay - tears are streaming down my face and I can't talk about the wonderful "hugger" without crying. Dh read what you wrote and he couldn't believe it. His words were - that is really beautiful. I am just in shock - I can't believe you girls sent me an afghan. It is one of the kindest things that anyone could have thought to do. I can't even begin to put into words the feelings I have of receiving the afghan. I just feel so LOVED by so many wonderful caring ladies - you are truly amazing. I will had DD or DH take some pictures then try to figure out how to post them. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I am going to go back and hold my "hugger". You are the best. Hugs from Karen in denver

I received squares from Denise and Liz yesterday.....love 'em....
Thank you for all and for the extra.....
I have 5 rows completed on a new afghan....
Denise, don't worry about the squares "shrinking".....the weight of the rows "anchor" all the squares and they will conform to the size and space in the row....
Love and Hugs, Madison -
How are we doing on squares girls? I've taken a little break and been knitting socks and a sweater, but am ready to make some more. Are you receiving enough or are you totally swamped?
-
Liz...I got your squares today along with the something extra which will come in handy for postage and Nate says "Thanks you Aunt Liz"...with a huge smile!
Denise...I got your squares too...oh my...I don't even know what to say. You are a cherished friend too and I love ya...thank you...made me cry!
I love you all...each and every one.
Sorry that I have gotten behind a bit but I am catching up now...I promise.
Has anyone heard anything about Kimmytoo...I haven't seen anything in a long time...a little worried about her.
Love and hugs
Vickie -
Sheri....I have enough squares at the moment so probably Madison is in greater need...she has been whipping out afghans quicker than I can count them!
Love and hugs
Vickie
oh...still need to post some pics but having new camera issues... -
Madison & Vickie, I have finally finished some blocks. I have eight here in VA, and the rest at home in MI. Can I ship them in a UPS big plastic shipping bag? Has anyone sent them successfully in one? I'll be sending them out when I get home. Some need to be blocked. They're knitted. Probably will be home after the 4th. Grandbaby #2 is still very comfy inside mommy.
BTW--I need addresses to send them to. Please PM them to me.
Hugs, Healing, and Prayers for all.
Laura -
PS--Trying to knit with a very curious two and a half year old around, is challenging to say the least.

Send your squares to Madison for the moment...she's been whipping the afghans out faster than I can even count them. I am catching up but I am ok on squares for a couple of weeks at least.
You ladies are all the bestest...hope you see some of your squares in there...

I am working hard on hand crocheting these rectangles. It's slow going, what with all the ripping out and all. lol But I do beleive I'm finally getting that danged turnaround. I work just as much as I did before but it is slow. Although, I do enjoy it more. Just wanted to let you know I haven't stopped just learning to do it by hand.
