Thanks so much for helping to promote peoples' awareness of this site. You sure are doing your utmost to help. -
I hope you remember to stop at this site and click on. It helps those in need in several areas. Thanks so much. Perhaps it's because of summer vacations, but the #s are low currently.

Bringing this to the top once more.
Did you all see that together in 2006 we (all who clicked on here)funded 2,612 mammograms for women in need?
Let's keep up the good work in 2007.
Phyllis -
Up to top once again.
-
For those of you who may know of a women who is avoiding a mammo because they can't afford them, I would urge them to contact their local county Breast and Cervical Cancer program through their Adult and Family Services, or go directly to the CDC web site or their state human resources office. If they receive screening through the CDC program (administered by local country health services, then it is free as will an susequent treatment requied should there be a cancer.

Up to the top again.

I am bringing this to the top again so that new members will get to see it. Thanks to all who click on, add information, and spread the word.

Hi Denver Sue,
Thanks so much for your message here. I started this thread October 28 2004 and many many people have been responding. When the website here was recently updated, somehow the numbers were greatly diminished. It does not give a true picture of all the responses in the last almost three years.
Of late I have been "immersed" in medical problems of my own and with many close family members. So, I am not able to update this thread as much as I'd like to.
I was so happy to see your message here. As you (and anyone else who would like to) can, it would be great to update here at least once in two weeks.
I'll be back as time and circumstances permit.
I miss the entire website, my friends, etc.

Hi everyone,
I just received an email from a relative of mine who has no idea that I have this thread going here for over three years. She does not know that I am a member of, or why I am connected to, bc.org.
She was passing along a request from someone else, asking everyone to click on to www.thebreastcancersite.com . They say that not enough clicks are coming in daily. I know most of you are doing your part to help.
If possible, please let other friends, relatives, etc. know of this site. Every click helps. At pre holiday and holiday time and over weekends people are occupied with other matters. This is a quick thing to do, and takes only a small amount of time.
Thanks in advance.

Bumping this up. This month if enough clicks are made, mammogram machines to South Africa.
