A few minutes ago I THOUGHT I put a message here wishing everyone a healthy, happy, Thanksgiving holiday and weekend. I also asked you to not
forget to click on here when at your computer. The message got lost somewhere in the computer. So I'm rewriting it.

Hi Phyllis,
A happy and healthy Thanksgiving to you too.
Also, an acknowledgment and thank you for how considerately you are bringing attention to this worthy cause by occasionally bumping it up to remind us to click.---Thumbs up!
Take care,
-
For this, I don't mind emailing everyone on my contact list!

Bumping up this thread. I click every morning when I boot up my computer.

I know I've been away from this thread and the boards for a long time.
First I want to thank Saluki (Susie) and Erica, and Sheila for updating this thread for me.
The reason I've not been here is that my head and heart were (are) somewhere else. My brother was ill with cancer for more than a year. The last month was really bad. We lost him on December 19th.
I did not want to open a new thread somewhere on the boards to tell my unhappy story. I just want all to know that I didn't just quit the boards or this thread. I am just feeling so sad and down.
You are all such wonderful people. If I cannot update the thread here for whatever reason, I am confidant that one and another of my sisters here will do it.

Bringing this to the top once again.

Bumping up.

Phyllis, Thank-you for the reminder. I click on that site too, but I did need a reminder, to do it everyday !
So sorry to hear about your brother.
HUGS -
Barb,
Thanks for adding your comment here. I"ve been a member for several years now. I suppose my friends and sisters from those years have gone on to other things. It is amazing to me to see that you are the only one who seems to have seen my message about losing my brother recently. I really appreciate your message, and the fact that you are one of the great gals who click on here to help these women.

Hi everyone- I am new here, but I saw this thread and noticed that no one has contributed to it in a few years (last I saw was march 2005.. unless i am looking in the wrong area). Anyway, I wanted to say that I was referred by a a girl who worked for another breast cancer charity to the komen foundation who put me in touch with a local medical center in my area (High Desert) that does free cancer treatment. I can't get an appointment for about a month, but it was nice to know that the help is there. I hope this helps.- JL

Dear Jennylynn,
Something is not signaled right. If you look at the comment just above yours, it was sent in on March 11th, just 11 days before your comment.
Anyway, I want to welcome you to this very helpful website. Good luck with your treatments. As you have time, browse through this organization's website information. It is one of the best. Everyone tries to help each other.

Has anyone seen the I AM NOT AFRAID POST?

Bumping to the top again. Sorry I have not been here for several weeks. Very busy with whatever. I hope you all are doing well. Anyone is welcome to bump this thread to the top now and then if I am unable to for some lengthy amount of time.

Hi,
What about the breast site? I put a link to it on the Breast Cancer Resources website. The address is http://langetc.tripod.com/health11.html
-
Bumping up once again. I hope you are all doing well. My life is keeping me busy in other directions currently. I think of you, my sisters very often, though. I'm sure you are all doing what you can to help these women who can not afford a mammogram.

Bumping this up again for new members and old friends.

Went to the site and clicked. Also looked around the store and found they have a special offer available. Chancer patients can receive a head scarf for only $1. I ordered it and a couple of other items. Teresa

tapmrv,
Thanks for the information. I'm sure many members will be interested. Our bc.org also has items for sale to benefit the organization. Check it out too.

Another Great Site is www.charityplush.com . They donant 25% to 50% of profits to charity. They also let you choose what charity you want the money to go to. They have great products at great prices.

I have not been to the boards in a long time and did not update this thread because of it. Here I am again, just reminding everyone to click in here as much as possible. I do hope everyone is doing well.
