Denise and Sue, I also received your squares. I'm like a kid at Christmas.....so very excited to open the boxes and see the wonderful squares.
Vickie, I'm going to track the package I mailed Monday....wonder where it is?
Hugs, Madison -
I received a beautiful surprise yesterday.Just in time for a rain storm. I wrapped myself up and listened to the rain outside and felt all of you holding me up and all around me. It was very special and meant a lot to me. Cancer has changed me in so many ways and I'm having a difficult time now venturing forward through this uncertainty. However, one thing I'm truly blessed and feel fortunate about is having such loving women in my life. An act of kindness and compassion touches so many and continues to circle. I pray for compassion, understanding and most of all a cure. I pray for each of us and believe that the future will be bright. I love you all! Lisa

Vickie and Madison -
The latest afghan pictures are great! The best part of the project is seeing the reaction from everyone as they recieve their afghan and the visible symbol of our love for each other!
I have been working on squares as time permits, I have had a few dr's appointments lately so I have had time while waiting for the dr or tests! I have a pile of squares done, and I will send them to the both of you next week when I make it to the post office.
Hugs,
Liz K -
Cheri...you are so very welcome. You deserve it.
Lisa...sending up prayers for you too and you too are very welcome.
I got squares from Puppy today! Puppy you are a doll. The squares are beautiful and Nathaniel was so surprised at all the little treats you included for him. He says "tell Aunt Puppy I love her" and hung your card on his bedroom door. The watch was perfect as he is always asking me what time it is. He loves it all and told me that the book "wasn't just any book, it was a special one". Thank you and hugs.
You ladies are the best. Each and every one. Off to get my house cleaned up so I can relax and crochet this weekend.
Love to all
Vickie -
Lisa and Cheri,
Enjoy your afghans. I'm honored to be a part of this group. I really love it. -
Dear Jule,
Glad you got the yarn. Let me know if you need more. I have a rather large stash and wouldl ilke to share. Enjoy doing the quilt.
Cherryl -
I am so happy for you {{cheri}} and {{Lisa}} were happy you feel our Love! Vickie, so my little nathan enjoyed his fun things from Aunt Puppy YEA! give him a BIG HUG from Aunt Puppy and tell him I Love Him TOO!
Puppy -
Cheri, wrap yourself in that afghan (yes, you can share with the puppy and DD)...we love ya!!!
-
Vickie, i think the "basket weave" are some of the ones my Mom did and you put them over solid ones. They look great! I was afraid they would be too open but when you put them together the look really cool!
-
Enjoy your afghan Cheri. you know how much love is poured into it. Just think, a few months ago, you had no clue about making squares, crocheted or knitted. Now you have accomplished so much in such a short amount of time. You will get through thi snext phase with flying colors and we will all be there to help. Have a good cuddle with Amber under the blankie.
-
Is that how they got those dual colored ones? That is a really kewl idea, Vickie! It really adds uniqueness to the afgan.
-
I swear I'm losing it.. I'm sure that I posted here last night....where is it?!?! I sent pm's to Madison and Vickie and I'm sure (better check!) that I posted on Circle thread about afghans. Maybe I didn't post here!
Anyhooooo....
Lisa and Cheri: I am so glad you received your afghans!! As so many have said: enjoy, wrap yourself up with all the hugs and know you are surrounded with all these friends!
Hugs,
Denise -
I'm so happy Cheri and Lisa you received afghans. I am making squares like crazy and should have a set for both Madison and Vickie here soon.
