Vickie,
That is absolutely awesome. I can't wait to see the pictures. Our priest today said our words were the windows to our souls...I think we can say that the actions of the wonderful members of your church community are the windows to their most beautiful and giving souls....
My daughter promises to get EE's address (she has law school finals starting tomorrow...so she has been STRESSED).
I am putting the rows together on another afghan (and I sure do hope I get to finish it today)....
Thank you!!
Love Madison -
vicki you must go to an awesome church!!
-
Vickie: How nice of your church friend to do that!!
Madison and Vickie: I can not believe how quickly you two are putting the "Hugagans" together!
Love ya,
Denise
p.s. Yup, still have squares...Promise to mail on Tuesday!
Kinda like "the checks in the mail!" -
Forr EE's address what about the Edwards campaign Headquarters if you can't get anything else?
-
Hi, HI,
I finished an afghan at about midnight last night. I'll post pictures tonight. The afghan will go out Tuesday, priority (I still need to wash the afghan).
CY, EE's campaign headquarters is an idea, BUT having run campaigns I know how hectic things are, and you also have mainly volunteers working-not the same individual-the same time-everyday. I would be nervous to send it to the headquarters for fear it would get lost in the massive amount of posters, flyers, yard signs, etc. that are delivered daily. -
Vickie & Madison,
How badly do you need squares? And does one of you need them more than the other? I'm like Denise in the fact that I have almost 47 done but haven't boxed them up yet. Seems like I just did this! I'll do a few more and divide them unless I hear differently from you. If you need them mailed now I can sure do that too. However you want it done.
pals
cheri -
Cheri my dear, you can split them up between Vickie and I if you would like.....
Thanks bunches....
Hugs, Madison -
Cheri: 47, damn girl!
Madison and Vickie: I ACTUALLY boxed them up today and will put them in the mail tomorrow!
Hugs,
Denise -
Vickie & Madison

Well, I posted in the "Kay's Husband" thread but then I found this one. I'm wondering--are we one of your special projects. In any case, I'm putting the post from the other thread on here too.
=====
You GUYS!!!! How did you do this thing? THE BOX arrived yesterday, but I didn't find it until today. What a beautiful afghan, and what beautiful colors, and....and....and...I started to cry. Then I folded the afghan and put it back in the box and carried it upstairs and let my husband open it. And HE started to cry. That box was just FILLED with love from you all. We have decided that the The Afghan will go with us to Boston when we go for testing, and when we go back for treatment. It is so beautifully soft and comfy.
I can't believe y'all did this!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much.
=======
You cannot imagine how much this afghan means to both of us. He is back in the hospital--having trouble with his plasma levels--and so the afghan is with him now too. Maybe I'll take a picture and post it for the list. Gentle hugs to you all, sisters. -
Fancy2, We are so very glad that the afghan is bringing you comfort. Please know that we have been saying many prayers for you and your dear husband.
I'm sorry he is back in the hospital, but please let us know how he is doing.
Again, big hugs to you and your husband, along with our kindest thoughts and prayers.
Madison -
Fancy,
You and your husband enjoy the afghan...it was made with many loving hands from all over the country so that you will never feel alone and will know that someone is always thinking of you:).
I pray things turn around for you and your husband and that he will be able to come home soon.
Hugs

I got 2 1/2 squares done while waiting in ER yestersday, then couldn't do anymore cause the put an IV in and I couldn't bend my arm. I should be able to get some more done today as I wait around for phone calls
-
CY - What were you doing in the ER?????? Hope your better today.
Vickie and Madison - I sent you each a box of squares this morning. 20 in each box.
Every time I mail a box of squares or see a picture of a new afghan or read the response of a recipiant my heart just fills up and so do the tears in my eyes. This is one of the nicest things I've ever been involved in. Thank you all for making this possible.
Sue -
Madison, that is Beautiful!
I actually MAILED boxes to both you and Vickie today! Sounds like you are getting many squares..are you two buried yet?!
Hugs,
Denise -
Anne and Liz, I received your squares in the mail... and have already started putting borders.
Denise, I actually have an indentation in one of my fingers from the yarn!!! -
Madison I had the same indentation years ago when I spent so much time crocheting!
It's been fun picking it back up!
Think I'll go work on another square -
