Love all the cat photos and the saying about cats. I have 3: 1 bold, in your face female calico; and 1 female tabby and 1 gray male where you are more likely to see their butts than their faces since they boogie whenever a stranger (or even family especially grandchildren) arrives. They enrich my life on a daily basis, I am better for having them to remind me to slow down and enjoy a cuddle or petting session. Glad to have so many cat lovers to share this with.

Sounds like Pywacket. If the dogs bark at the front door, he’s gone to unknown places. If I know someone is coming who would like to see him, I close all doors before arriving , then we do a search for him. And won’t come out till he’s sure there is no stranger danger.
But then he and Kris will play and run around the house in hot pursuit. Spookie just barks. This is all new to me, never had an indoor cat before. Is fun and interesting.

Gorgeous photos!

Midnight Louie is not on the welcoming committee. He hides under the bed, even if he hears something outside. Certain people Miss Felix loves and she will wait at the door to see. She loves the lady that helps me and a lady we rent a house to (aka Cat whisperer).

Got a new plant, Mr Nosey had to check it out. And wanted to try posting a pic on this horrible new upgrade.
-
Ahhh, he's smelling the flowers. And it looks like he is being monitored by your poodle (sorry cannot remember his name). Cute.

The ASPCA has a list of plants that are toxic to cats. I had a cat attack a snake plant, which they said was toxic. I guess she didn't get enough because it didn't seem to bother her. The most deadly is Lilly - any kind. Just sniffing can kill them. I've had cats that thought my plants were salad and others who never touch them.
-
I buy little tubs of wheatgrass from the local grocery store. My cats love it.
-
Wrenn it’s sansavaria, and it is toxic. I got the plant at Walmart it’s called spring cactus, in the same family as Christmas cactus. It went outside with the rest shortly after that pic, I don’t have any houseplants. Pywacket tried to eat my valentines roses, stinker. Yes, he and Kris are buddy’s.
-
Louie would eat all plants, including plastic. Drives me crazy.

Miss Felix has started the loud meowing all the time again. She sings at night. I can't remember which diagnosis or meds went with that. I gave her some pain medication, this morning. Poor little cat.
-
Oh I hope Ms Felix begins to feel better, poor thing. And that you all get some sleep
Never start feeding a stray cat at night on your back porch. I now have the little grey cat, her bestie (a sweet young raccoon that has a bum leg) and an orange and white tabby. Good grief. I am sure when it gets warm enough to set out the have a heart traps that I will wind up with either a possum or a skunk in there. Fingers crossed that I am able to catch and fix the kitties before we get more of them.
-
rah2464, I hope you can catch the kitties and not the other wildlife.
-
Cat lovers are you still out there?
-
I’m here, this blasted site and the glitches 🤬🤬🤬🤬
-
How I feel after trying to log on here! Actually, it’s gotten a little better but jeez…
-
Wow, this looks like my cat Smudge AKA (affectionately as) Pudge even to the coloration. We received a cardboard box lid with takeout food and she has spent the last 3 days in it. She has assumed this pose in it as well but it is not as attractive as that rug.
As far as logging on, I agree and the wait for the forum to load is soooooooooooo slow. I have also lot posts lately and that is distressing since there is no warning that you are going to be obliterated even when signed in. Annoying to say the least.
-
I am too! My kitties are all in hiding as we adopted some puppies and my entire household is in dissarry
-
PUPPIES let the fun begin!!!! There is a dog thread, and I need to see puppy pics❤️❤️
-
Spookiesmom, I am glad you are here.
-
spookiesmom if I am ever awake enough again with midnight potty runs I will post. They are cute little knuckleheads but ye gods
-
I am glad to see cat lovers slowly coming back. I love seeing the Kitty pictures and reading about their antics.
-
This “upgrade “ is make me crazy.
-
Where's Louie? He blends in.
-
Hello, gorgeous!
-
Last night Bella came into the kitchen and began "singing" to the cat food cans. She can make it very clear what she wants and expects.
