Cats, cats, cats

Speaking of rescues - my latest project a young grey tabby - has been sleeping in the rocking chair on my side porch. She is very skittish possibly entirely feral but will wait around for me from a distance to place food out for her. I will set up a trap once the colder weather passes as I know she needs to be spayed. But we only get the characters dropped off out here. She has become fast friends with a raccoon. They eat side by side and after their meal they begin to play. They chase each other around the porch creating a huge racket. It is entertaining to watch. Sometimes she chases, other times the raccoon does. I do not know what it says about me that only the oddballs show up here haha
-
It says they know you are a woman of kind heart who wont chase them away!

Rainbow - teary eyes
Clawyers - LOL
Egyptian God - Midnight Louie

The Rainbow message about the rescuer brought tears to my eyes for all the poor cats who have not found a loving home. I had a "lurker" that would follow me around my yard but never get close enough for me to touch. I fed him on my patio but still could not get close until one day he decided I was his rescuer (after a year of trying). Since I had other cats we brought him in to the garage to see if he was litter trained and once this was established moved him to the basement. Eventually he had the run of the house with the other cats but his "bosom buddy" was my dog. He determined they would share her bed. He was about 4 when we took him in (found out his previous owner had adopted another cat who drove this one away since they were indoor/outdoor cats) and he lived to be nearly 20 years old.
Clawyers was so funny.
The Egyptian goddess Bastet meme was precious. I bought an alabaster statue of her when I was in Egypt to honor how regal cats can be when they so choose. Meanwhile my rotund cat sits like a meerkat, her belly helps balance her!

Thanks, FF

Love the open hours of the Clawyers hotline!

I think Miss Felix rescued us. She is a calico and they say that calico cats bring good luck. She has brought us good luck. Plus she is the best cat ever.
-
A beautiful one!!!!
-
Wow that photo of Miss Felix looks like a painting. She is beautiful.
-
She is very beautiful. My dear mother always favored a calico and I have a special spot in my heart for them.
-
Both cats are vomiting this morning. Felix had it in her food and water dishes. Poor baby, Louie is wheezing and coughing. I think he has more to bring up. Anyone know of some really good hair ball stuff. That they will eat.
-
Many moons ago I used to buy this gel for hairballs that you put on their paws. They loved it but I haven't purchased any in over 20 years. Sorry that you have to deal with hairball hacking today.

It’s official. First sighting of cat in the pot.
The female community cat I feed enjoying the empty flower pot my porch. She doesn’t come as often since my next door neighbor lets his dog out off leash and the dog is hell bent on catching her.
-
No leash law in your community? Love the cat in the pot and is this a harbinger of spring?
-
Definitely a sign of spring when she starts resting in the pot. We do have a leash law and I’ve reminded him every time I see the dog off leash regardless of what she’s doing but am blown off. Been trying to get a film of it but I don’t usually have my phone in my hand. May call without filming the evidence of a chase.
-
Kathindc wonderful!!!

They are gorgeous! And, I think Elliott knows it. He has such a regal air about him. Alannah looks like she melted into the bed for the love puddle effect.
