This time around isn’t so stressful but another lump

Welp, last year I had an interductal papilloma removed along with what was basically a cyst in my left breast.

Here I am again this time with my right breast. I have a firm uh hill like lump (I can’t grasp it so I wouldn’t call it a pea) near my armpit but I am not sure if it’s in my breast tissue or a lymph node. I am going to be seen on Wednesday. I’m not as worried as last time because there are sooooo many things it can be. Plus by touch alone; that isn’t going to tell me what it is. Must wait until imagining is done. I say I’m not as worried but still the unknown is scary so here I am writing about it.

On the bright side, I’m day 6 of no longer smoking cigarettes!

Hi JessiGirl - I remember you! Sorry you find yourself here again though glad you came back. I can understand you not being quite as nervous as last time. And obviously having some anxiety is reasonable and normal.... There is more familiarity with processes, etc. And you know we are here and the info and support here.... Glad you already have an appointment for imaging - knowing that helps too. Congrats on stopping smoking!!! Let us know...

Really good news on both fronts!! Congrats. I suppose they had trouble finding the lymph node *because* it's normal. Whatever aggravated it in August must have settled down.

    Good news, thanks for sharing.
