Finding a treatment center

I am her2+ newly diagnosed but recurrent breast cancer. I’m willing to go to other areas if I can get treated or at minimum for second opinion. Recent US News rates MD Anderson first than Sloan Kettering and I believe Mayo is next. It doesn’t breakdown the cancers though. Does anyone know of a site that provides outcome specific tobreast by hospital? My current hospital/doctor has made a few mistakes already so I’m concerned. Thank you in advance!

Here is a list of NCCN institutions:

(Of course you’ll need to check if your insurance will cover.)

Is Magonmac the same person as Marjmac?

If you go into "my profile" you can add your diagnosis and post treatment plans as you get them. It will help us to answer your questions

I did not go to MD Anderson (although I'm in Houston) because my surgeon had a fellowship there and assured me she'd immediately refer me if something went south. I had my surgery at Methodist, my chemo at Baylor and my radiation at MDA-Katy (because it was closer than driving to the med center every day)

Yes, I am very much in favor of second opinions. You should be able to get good information at anyplace on the list that Shetland Pony posted. But as you may already know, they like to start chemo right away for HER2+. When I had a recurrence the MO said I could take a planned trip to NY two weeks out if I had to, but he did not want me to go on my ticketed cruise to Alaska 6 weeks out. That was a comment based on my question "what would you tell your Mother"?
