We are God's eyes ~~jewel from song hands

O my God, I ask of You
for myself and for those whom I hold dear,
the grace to fulfill perfectly Your holy will,
to accept for love of You
the joys and sorrows of this passing life,
so that we may one day be united
in Heaven for all eternity.
Saint Thérèse of Lisieux
FORTIFY me with the grace
of Your Holy Spirit
and give Your peace
to my soul
that I may be free
from all needless
anxiety and worry.
Help me to desire always
that
which is pleasing and acceptable to You
so that Your will may be my will.
(By Saint Francis Xavier Cabrini)

In Happy moments, praise God
In Difficult moments, seek God
In Quiet moments, worship God
In Painful moments, trust God
And in Every moment, thank God

Look at things
as though you were seeing it
either for the first time or last time
Then your time on earth
will be filled with glory

O Jesus,
when all is darkness
and we feel our weakness and helplessness,
give us the sense of Your presence,
Your love, and Your strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
in Your protecting love
and strengthening power,
so that nothing may frighten or worry us,
for, living close to You,
we shall see Your hand,
Your purpose, Your will through all things.

And God is always there
if you feel wounded
He kneels over this earth
like a divine medic,
and His love thaws the holy in us~St Teresa of Avila

May today
there be peace within~
May you trust
your highest power
that you are exactly where you are meant to be....
May you not forget
the infinite possibilities
that are born of
faith
May you use
those gifts that you have received,
and pass on the love that has been given to you....
May you be content
knowing you are a child of God....

Ps 91, 1-2. 10-11. 12-13. 14-15
15) Be with me, Lord, when I am in trouble.
You who dwell in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,
Say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust."
R. Be with me, Lord, when I am in trouble.
No evil shall befall you,
nor shall affliction come near your tent,
For to his angels he has given command about you,
that they guard you in all your ways.
R. Be with me, Lord, when I am in trouble.
Upon their hands they shall bear you up,
lest you dash your foot against a stone.
You shall tread upon the asp and the viper;
you shall trample down the lion and the dragon.
R. Be with me, Lord, when I am in trouble.
Because he clings to me, I will deliver him;
I will set him on high because he acknowledges my name.
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in distress;
I will deliver him and glorify him.
R. Be with me, Lord, when I am in trouble -

Be still
and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10
Oh, Little Theresa
of the child Jesus,
please pick for me
a rose from the Heavenly Garden
and send it to me as a message of love
Oh little flower of Jesus
ask God the favors I now place
with confidence in your hands ( mention special request).
St. Theresa,
help us to always believe
as you did in God's great love for me,
so that I may imitate your little way each day.
Amen.

Blessed be God,
which hath not turned away my prayer,
nor his mercy from me~psalm 66

YOU ARE NEAR
By: DAN SCHUTT S.J.
Sequenced by: Stewart Duffie
refrain
O God I know you are near,
standing always at my side.
You guard me from the foe,
and you lead me in ways everlasting.
1. Lord you have searched my heart,
and you know when I sit and when I stand,
Your hand is upon me protecting me from death,
keeping me from harm.
refrain
O God I know you are near,
standing always at my side.
You guard me from the foe,
and you lead me in ways everlasting.
Where can I run from your love?
If I climb to the heavens you are there,
If I fly to the sunrise or sail beyond the sea.
Still I'd find you there.
refrain
O God I know you are near,
standing always at my side.
You guard me from the foe,
and you lead me in ways everlasting.
You know my heart and its ways,
you who formed me before I was born,
in secret of darkness before I saw the sun,
in my mothers womb
refrain
O God I know you are near,
standing always at my side.
You guard me from the foe,
and you lead me in ways everlasting.
Marvelous to me are your works;
how profound are your thoughts, my lord.
Even if I could count them,
they number as the starts,
you would still be there
refrain
O God I know you are near,
standing always at my side.
You guard me from the foe,
and you lead me in ways everlasting.

Psalm 139 is my favorite Psalm because it reminds me
of so many things.
It reminds me that the Lord knows my every move,
my every thought, my every emotion. And because of this
He knows exactly what I need at all times. And even though
there may be times in my life that seem as though He is
working against me instead of for me I am reminded
that in the end it will be for the best and my own good.
It reminds me that the Lord is everywhere,
and that no matter where I go, if I should ever feel lonely,
He is with me, and I can talk to Him.
This Psalm also reminds me that He was with me
while I was even in the womb, that He made me, formed me,
and I am therefore exactly the person I was meant to be.
Lastly it is my favorite Psalm because it supplies me
with excellent words in which to use in prayer.
"Search me O God, and know my heart;
Try me and know my anxious thoughts;
And see if there be any hurtful way in me,
And lead me in the everlasting way."

ISAIAH 53:5
Lord Jesus, you were pierced for my
transgressions, you were crushed for my iniquities,
the punishment that brought me peace was upon
you, and by your wounds I am healed. -

You know well enough
that Our Lord
does not look so much
at the greatness of our actions,
nor even at their difficulty,
but at the love with which we do them
-Saint Therese of Lisieux
-
Lord,
grant that I may always
allow myself to be guided by you,
follow your plans and
perfectly accomplish your holy will
Grant that in all things,
great and small,
today and all the days of my life,
I may do whatever you require me
Help me to respond
to the slightest prompting of your grace;
so that I may be
your trustworthy instrument, for your Honor
May your will be done;
in time & eternity--by me,
in me, and through me.
Amen

To Saint Gabriel
O loving messenger of the Incarnation, descend upon all those for whom I wish peace and happiness. Spread your wings over them.
Give to them a lily petal from the virginal scepter in your hand. Cause the Ave Maria to re-echo in all hearts that they may find grace and joy through Mary.
Finally, recall the sublime words spoken on the day of the Annunciation -- "Nothing is impossible with God," and repeat them in hours of trial -- to all -- that their confidence in Our Lord may be reanimated, when all human help fails. Amen. -

O wondrous Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus, who, in thy brief earthly life, didst become a mirror of angelic purity, of courageous love and of whole-hearted surrender to Almighty God, now that thou art enjoying the reward of thy virtues, turn thine eyes of mercy upon us who trust in thee. Obtain for us the grace to keep our hearts and minds pure and clean like unto thine, and to detest in all sincerity whatever might tarnish ever so slightly the luster of a virtue so sublime, a virtue that endears us to they heavenly Bridegroom. Ah, dear Saint, grant us to feel in every need the power of thy intercession; give us comfort in all the bitterness of this life and especially at its latter end, that we may be worthy to share eternal happiness with thee in paradise. Amen.
V. Pray for us, O blessed Theresa,
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
LET US PRAY
O Lord, who has said: "Unless you become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven"; grant us, we beseech Thee, so to walk in the footsteps of thy blessed Virgin Theresa with a humble and single heart, that we may attain to everlasting rewards: Who livest and reignest world without end. Amen. -
I will bless the LORD at all times;
his praise shall be ever in my mouth.
Let my soul glory in the LORD;
the lowly will hear me and be glad.
R. The Lord hears the cry of the poor.
Glorify the LORD with me,
let us together extol his name.
I sought the LORD, and he answered me
and delivered me from all my fears.
R. The Lord hears the cry of the poor
Look to him that you may be radiant with joy,
and your faces may not blush with shame.
When the poor one called out, the LORD heard,
and from all his distress he saved him.
R. The Lord hears the cry of the poor.
The angel of the LORD encamps
around those who fear him, and delivers them.
Taste and see how good the LORD is;
blessed the man who takes refuge in him.
R. The Lord hears the cry of the poor. -
A Catholic prayer to Our Guardian Angel
Heavenly Father,
Your infinite love for us has chosen a blessed angel in
heaven
and appointed him our guide during this earthly
pilgrimage.
Accept our thanks for so great a blessing.
Grant that we may experience the assistance
of our holy protector in all our necessities.
And you, holy, loving angel and guide,
watch over us with all the tenderness of your angelic
heart.
Keep us always on the way that leads to heaven,
and cease not to pray for us
until we have attained our final destiny, eternal
salvation.
Then we shall love You for all eternity.
We shall praise and glorify You unceasingly
for all the good You have done for us while here on earth.
Especially be a faithful and watchful protector of our
children.
Take our place, and supply what may be wanting to us
through human frailty, short-sightedness, or sinful
neglect.
Lighten, O you perfect servants of God, our heavy task.
Guide our children,
that they may become like unto Jesus,
may imitate Him faithfully,
and persevere till they attain eternal life.
Amen
Guardian Angel, watch over those whose names you can read in my heart. Guard over them with every care and make their way easy and their labors fruitful. Dry their tears if they weep; sanctify their joys; raise their courage if they weaken; restore their hope if they lose heart, their health if they be ill, truth if they err, repentance if they fail. -
"Sweet Jesus, is there anything sweeter than you? To remember you is more delightful than everything else. Your name is joy; it is the true gate of our salvation. What else are you, Jesus, if not our Savior? Be our Redeemer. Give us the virtues of hope and love, just as you have given us faith, our primary joy. Give us the words that we need to praise you always. With the help and through the prayers of your mother. You who are blessed throughout the ages. Amen.
St. Anthony of Padua -
Prayer of the Sick
Dear Jesus, Healer of the Sick, I turn to you in this time of illness. Alleviate my worry and sorrow with your gentle love and grant me the grace and strength to accept this burden. I place my worries in your hands. I place myself in your care and humbly ask that you restore me to health again. Above all, grant me the grace to acknowledge your holy will and know that you love me and are with me in this, my most difficult time. Amen -
Dear friends,
All of these prayers are beautiful. I have a very dear friend who is a nun. She is a Salesian Sister who lives in Canada. Whenever I get scared about my health she says to say...."Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You."
Lou Ann,
thanks for the masses
Hugs and prayers,
Candie

"Blessed be all mothers
Who have come into our lives
Whose kindness, care and loving
Remain with us to guide.
Response:
Blessed be all mothers
Who have come into our lives
Blessed be, Blessed be,

Made us strive in every way
Especially to remember
Helping others makes our day.

Flows directly from my heart

Old Irish Prayer
Alone with none but thee, my God,
I journey on my way.
What need I fear,
when thou art near
O king of night and day?
More safe am I within thy hand
Than if a host did round me stand.
