A CATHOLIC PRAYER
Mary Immaculate, you have given
yourself to us as our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. You have asked us to pray
with confidence,and we will receive
great graces. We know your compassion,
because you saw your Son suffer and die
for us. In your union with His suffering you
became the mother of us all.
Mary, my mother, teach me to understand
my suffering as you do and to endure
it in union with the suffering of Jesus. In
your motherly love, calm my fears and
increase my trust in God's loving care.
According to God's plan, obtain for me
the healing I need. Intercede with your Son
that I may have the strenght I need to work
for God's glory and the salvation of the
world.
Amen
Mary, health of the sick, pray for us.
May God grant us healing and all the graces
we need through the intercession of our Lady
of the Miraculous Medal.

I happen to have a miraculous medal and wear it every day. The food bank where I volunteer is part of my church (catholic) and there is a huge box of miraculous medals that we give out to any of the clients who want them. (We also pass out rosarys and uplifting literature.)
If any of the sisters here would like a miraculous medal and the literature that goes with it, all you have to do is email me at trisha506@cox.net and give me your name and address. I will be happy to send one out to you.
God bless. -
Thank you so much Trisha..
Here is another powerful novena... Saint Therese is known as the Saint of
the Little Ways. Meaning she believed in doing the little things in life
well and with great love. She is also the patron Saint of flower growers
and florists. She is represented by roses. May everyone be blessed who
reads this message.....Before reading or saying this prayer make a request and then pray..There
is nothing attached. This is a powerful novena.
May today there be peace within. May you trust your highest power that
you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the
infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts
that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to
you.... May you be content knowing you are a child of God.... Let this
presence settle into our bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing,
dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of you.
This is a beautiful novena meant to be passed on to family and friends if you care to do so...
May the angels walk with you as you journey through each day..................The next time you see a rose stop and take a moment to say a prayer to St. Therese...She will hear you..xoxo,Patti -

NOVENA TO
SAINT PEREGRINE
==========================
FEAST DAY: 04 MAY
PATRON SAINT OF CASES OF MALIGNANT DISEASE
O GREAT St. Peregrine, you who have been called the mighty wonder worker because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you, you who for so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more; you who were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cures of these sick persons whom we entrust to you: (Here mention their names) Aided by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.
(Seven times: Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be.) -
Thanks Patti..That is a wonderful novena.I will also pass this one on to and I will say this one daily for everyone at bc.org..hugs LuAnn
-
Hey Lu thank you for your novena also...I just said them all for us....Perhaps we could make that trip to Lourdes some day!!!!!............xoxo,Patti
-
O Mother of mercy, comforter of the afflicted,
you know my suffering and my needs. Look upon
me with loving kindness.
By appearing at the Grotto of Lourdes, you made
it a sacred place, a sanctuary of healing.
Many have been cured there, both physically and
spiritually. I come, therefore, with faith in the
Lord's healing power.
O Mary, please grant my requests for healing.
Most of all, help me to know and embrace God's
will for me.
Amen -
Thanks to all of you for such powerful prayers. All of us who are dealing with this disease "Cancer" need prayers in our lives. I have a hard time dealing with people who do not believe in the power of prayer. Without prayers from my family and friends, I would not have made it through the cancer surgery, treatment, and now to deal with it through my daily life. It will be 3 years on August 16th that my life was turned upside down. God was with me during this time as he has always been there when I needed him. I have been through a lot this past 4 years - the death of my husband, cancer, and this past year getting bit by a brown recluse spider and nearly died - spending 28 days in the hospital during the Christmas holidays, makes one realize the power of prayers that were said for me. God does here our prayers as well as th4e Blessed Mother.
I will pray for each one of you that you will be healed and restored to wonderful health so we can
better serve him. -
Dear Friz thanks for you inspiring post..I am sending you a pm....Patti...

Prayer for Healing to Padre Pio
Blessed Padre Pio, you were a humble and faithful servant of God who always did everything to honor and glorify Him. When you were living here on earth thousands of persons were miraculously healed through your powerful prayers. Now that you are in heaven before the Throne of Grace your prayers are much more powerful. While you were on earth you always did what Jesus asked of you. Now that you are in heaven I know that Jesus will do whatever you ask of Him. Blessed Padre Pio, I humbly beseech you through your merits and intercession to obtain a healing for His Holiness, Pope John Paul II. I trust in your powerful intercession before the Throne of Grace and I thank you. Amen

Pope Paul V1 - 21 February 1971 commenting on the life of Padre Pio
And you, Blessed Padre Pio, look down from heaven upon us assembled in this square and upon all gathered in prayer before the Basilica of Saint John Lateran and in San Giovanni Rotondo. Intercede for all those who, in every part of the world, are spiritually united with this event and raise their prayers to you. Come to the help of everyone; give peace and consolation to every heart. Amen!

PADRE PIO'S PRAYER TO THE IMMACULATE VIRGIN
My most pure Mother, my soul so poor, all stained with wretchedness and
sin cries out to your maternal heart. In your goodness deign, I beseech
you, to pour out on me at least a little of the grace that flowed into
you with such infinite profusion from the Heart of God....
Have pity on me! May one compassionate look of yours revive me, purify
me and lift me up to God; raising me from the filth of this world that I
may go to him who created me, who regenerated me in holy Baptism, giving
me back my white stole of innocence that original sin had so defiled.
Dear mother, make me love him! Pour into my heart that love that burned
in yours for him. Even though I be clothed in misery, I revere the
mystery of your Immaculate Conception, and I ardently wish that through
it you may purify my heart so that I may love your God and my God.
Cleanse my mind that it may reach up to him and contemplate him and
adore him in spirit and in truth. Purify my body that I, too, may be a
tabernacle for him and be less unworthy of possessing him when he deigns
to come to me in Holy Communion. Amen.

Prayer to Obtain the Glorification of Padre Pio
O Jesus, full of grace and charity, victim for sinners, so impelled by love for us that you willed to die on the cross, I humbly beseech you to glorify in heaven and on earth the Servant of God, Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, who generously participated in your sufferings, who loved you so much and labored so faithfully for the glory of your heavenly Father and for the good of souls. With confidence I beseech you to grant me, through his intercession, the grace of ......... which I ardently desire.
Glory be to the Father.... (three times)
Prayer of Padre Pio after Communion
Stay with me, Lord, for it is necessary to have You present so that I do not forget You. You know how easily I abandon You.
Stay with me, Lord, because I am weak and I need Your strength, that I may not fall so often.
Stay with me, Lord, for You are my life, and without You, I am without fervor.
Stay with me, Lord, for You are my light, and without You, I am in darkness.
Stay with me, Lord, to show me Your will.
Stay with me, Lord, so that I hear Your voice and follow You.
Stay with me, Lord, for I desire to love You very much, and always be in Your company.
Stay with me, Lord, if You wish me to be faithful to You.
Stay with me, Lord, for as poor as my soul is, I wish it to be a place of consolation for You, a nest of Love.
Stay with me, Jesus, for it is getting late and the day is coming to a close, and life passes, death, judgement, eternity approaches. It is necessary to renew my strength, so that I will not stop along the way and for that, I need You. It is getting late and death approaches. I fear the darkness, the temptations, the dryness, the cross, the sorrows. O how I need You, my Jesus, in this night of exile!
Stay with me tonight, Jesus, in life with all its dangers, I need You.
Let me recognize You as Your disciples did at the breaking of bread, so that the Eucharistic Communion be the light which disperses the darkness, the force which sustains me, the unique joy of my heart.
Stay with me, Lord, because at the hour of my death, I want to remain united to You, if not by Communion, at least by grace and love.
Stay with me, Jesus, I do not ask for divine consolation, because I do not merit it, but, the gift of Your Presence, oh yes, I ask this of You!
Stay with me, Lord, for it is You alone I look for. Your Love, Your Grace, Your Will, Your Heart, Your Spirit, because I love You and ask no other reward but to love You more and more.
With a firm love, I will love You with all my heart while on earth and continue to love You perfectly during all eternity.
Amen

The Feast of St. Anthony is Sunday, June 13 and in his honor I send this prayer to you....I have been praying to St. Anthony since I was five years old and through his intercessions he has never failed me when I misplaced something. I sometimes think that I wore out my welcome years ago!! I guess he doesn't agree because he continues to listen and help me to this day..When I was about five my mother lost her wedding band in the leaves ..She was frantic and so I had my first encounter with ST. Anthony...Off to church we went and lit candles and said our prayer...When we returned home we looked through the leaves again and I found her ring.....AT that time I thought that I was the big hero..Years later it hit me when I called on him!! LOL!!!!!
.Thank you St. Anthony...xoxo, Patti

Novena to St. Anthony of Padua
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PRAYER FOR HEALTH & HEALING
Dear Jesus, You who have seen the suffering of All humankind, and who suffered the indignities and pain of a cruel crucifixion, have mercy on me. Help me, for the greater glory of Your Father in Heaven, to recover from my distress. Give my doctors the wisdom to use the resources within their power to heal me, and comfort my family in their empathy for me.
Restore me to health, dear Lord, so that I may honor You in all I say and do. I ask this in Your name, my Lord and savior, and Your humble servant, St. Anthony of Padua, The Miracle Worker. AMEN.
NINE DAY NOVENA
ANTHONY OF PADUA
PRIEST AND DOCTOR OF THE CHURCH -
Patti:
Thanks for the beautiful novena prayer to St. Anthony. I agree with you - he never lets me down when I pray to him to help me find whatever it is I've lost (that day)!! LOL Anyway, somewhere in the middle of this cancer journey, it either dawned on me (or I heard it somewhere) to pray to St. Anthony to help find the cure for cancer. So from that day, I pray to both him and the Blessed Mother to find a cure for this disease so that not one other person will ever have to go through it again!! Why not, he finds everything else, right? LOL
Blessings,
Pat
