What a calming picture! I think it is the contrast between the warmth of the home and the view out the window.

Happy Feast of the Epiphany (only a day late)
In recent years our Bishops have encouraged the adoption of a beautiful custom from other parts of Europe. We have consequently done it the last 3 years

Hi Everyone, I thought people on this thread might enjoy this podcast. Apparently this went to the #1 podcast on some charts.
When asked about the popularity of the podcast, Fr. Mike said "I think it reveals a lot about people's hunger. I think it reveals it's the new year, they want to make a change....One of the things the pandemic has done is making it virtually impossible to deny the fact life is uncertain," Fr. Schmitz says. "We only live under the illusion of certainty."
-
Our parish secretary has suggested it, too. I may do it.
-
thanks B.M
Will look at it

FYI, February 5th is the feast of St. Agatha, patron saint of breast cancer. I just discovered this today. Interestingly, I had my mastectomy on February 5th, 1991. Thirty years ago! I’m still here even though 5 years ago, mets were discovered in my lung. So, never give up, there is hope and life after breast cancer.
Prayers for Everyone with BC,
Faith, (in the future)

Thank so much MCBaker and Astrid. Thank you Astrid I made that Holy Spirit art for DH when we were dating! Here's my cat Elliott checking out one I am working on at the moment. As DS is using that room to WFH now I have limited access, but it turns out that that's actually really great for incentivising me to make sure to timetable some painting time for the weekends!
-
Where did you learn to do painting like mosaic? That is a beautiful style! Your new one is coming along fine! Please show it to us when it is finished.
-
Just lovely, feelingfeeline. Congrats on 9 years!

I try to check in here yearly to give you all hope....you're going to be ok sisters. If you need any extra support., please message me on FB: Laura Jambrosic. I'll continue to support. Love and blessings forever! Laura
I want to add, today is my birthday. 13 years later. I was 40 in this post....today 53. 4 grandkids....YOU GOT THIS!
-
AH Estepp what absolutely wonderful news to hear. PS I am 53 too! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAURA.
-

-
Happy Birthday FF.
And congrats Estepp! Amazing.
-
Hooray! Got it finished. Just needs a clear glaze and into my pottery friend's kiln! This is my second Easter plate. I did one in Lockdown last Lent and here we are in Lockdown again this Lent! They are nice Holy Spirit time in Lockdown! This Friday evening I am blessed to be part of the service team for an online gathering of teenage Catholics from the diocese. Great news, 70 young people signed up to come for an evening (on Zoom) of games, prayer, talks, discussion etc The theme is Hope. (the other 30 places on the Zoom are the adult volunteers who will be hosting and helping in breakout rooms etc.) God willing the Holy Spirit will be everywhere. Zoom has its limitations but its a powerful way to connect in Lockdown and there are no limits on the Holy Spirit.
-
That's so beautiful feelingfeline!
-
oh yeah!!
Precious.
I have downloaded it for my phone wallpaper.
Brilliant FF.
