Would you get Covid vaccine?
My warrior sisters...
If you have had bilateral suckers or more than stage 1 (hormone status is not relevant) and done w the usual treatments including optional hysterectomy or ovary removal, would you get the vaccine?
Simple yes or no is appreciated. No additional info or explanation is requested.
P.S. this survey is strictly for my reference. No research or publishing involved. I pinky swear on my mother's grave.

I want to get the vaccine, but I would have to know if it uses a live or dead virus. I was told not to get the shingles vaccine because it is a live virus. My MO would have to be asked.

Here is my background.
Yes, I went thru beatings of two lifetimes.(even had optional elbow lump removal, colonoscopy, heart tests, and uterine biopsy). Had 300 medical claims when I was only off 10 and a half months off from work. yes I am figuratively branded by my health insurance company.
I sure did not like it when I heard national Covid vaccine registry.
But my parents are 93 and 87 yrs old in New York state. I don't think I can forgive myself if I don't see them before it is too late.
I am torn. But I think I will wind up getting the vaccine.

Most likely not. I'm anti-vax. I've had BC 2X - in 2005 and 2018.

FWIW the vaccines that will be coming from Pfizer and Moderna are mRNA based and do not contain live or dead virus. Basically the vaxx is tiny packets of instructions that tell cells what to do to stop the virus. How cool is that?

I have an appointment for my first shot on 3/3. I am a teacher and we went back to partial live instruction two days ago. I can’t wait.
I understand the hesitancy of some but remember they didn’t start from scratch on these vaccines. COVID viruses are known entities. The vaccine needed to be tweaked to fit Covid19. The vaccines do not contain any COVID virus, dead or alive. Long term effects ? That is an unknown but we didn’t have the luxury of such a longitudinal study

I got my second dose of Pfizer two weeks ago so am feeling so grateful. Felt a little off and fluish about 12-24 hours after each one and then disappeared as quick as it came and no issues. My rationale for taking the vaccine - I had cancer which tried to kill me, 8 surgeries in 18 months, four rounds of chemo which is basically poison, 5 weeks of radiation which is well radiation, port infection which caused severe sepsis and a jugular DVT and sub clavicle DVT and hospitalization for 10 days and then six weeks of IV antibiotics and 90 days of lovenox stomach shots. I figured if my body has survived through all of that, if these two shots are going to take me out then so be it and it was meant to be . I'm more afraid of Covid than the vaccine. Just my own opinion and experience and to each his own 😘.

Got my 2nd Moderna vaccine yesterday. I had covid back in December with mild symptoms. When I got the 1st vaccine a month ago, I had headache, chills some body aches with the first. But "they" say if you had covid then the 1st vaccine dose can hit you hard. I still got chills, body aches and headache with the 2nd. I don't know if the fact that I have a really low WBC right now made it worse. But glad I got it
