Massage for Neuropathy
Has anyone tried massage therapy for neuropathy? I’ve tried just about everything without success and am considering giving it a try. I already have the green light from my MO, as long as I go to someone who is more medical (I.e. chiro/pt office, etc) and not a commercial massage place. The majority of my neuropathy is in my leg/foot.. although I’m hoping the massage could help loosen my back after spinal surgery too.
Thoughts? Experiences?

No but would to hear how it goes. It should make you feel good regardless. I’ve heard acupuncture but don’t know anyone who did it either.

Acupuncture is offered at my cancer treatment center. I see a great acupuncturist there. She specializes in cancer Treatment side effects and neuropathy. I’ve had neuropathy for 4.5 Years And ever since I had taxotere. I started Acupuncture with her almost 3 years ago and I believe it has helped improve my neuropathy. I would call around to find an acupuncturist who specializes in Neuropathy. I hope you find someone and it works for you.

Thanks foe the replies, everyone. I think I’m going to give it a try. Maybe it won’t change anything, but there’s a chance it will. I feel like it’s worth a try.
I’m ready to try just about anything.. including losing a chunk of extra weight. I know it’s impacting things.
My neuropathy is in my leg, so I can only lay/sleep on the other side. Imagine my horror over the weekend when I found pressure ulcers on the side that I always lay on. Enough is enough.. I can’t sit and wait for this to fix itself.. it’s become my mission.
