Brain Metastases

Hello Sisters,

I hope everyone is doing well and getting through this very challenging time.

It seems I mostly hop onto this board when I have a question. So, here is a question: this February will mark five years with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. In the beginning I had lesions in many places: skull, spine, ribs, sacrum, femur and liver. Through my amazing medical team I have been stable since September of 2016. My worry has always been developing mets to the brain. Last year, I asked my onc to scan my brain, which she did, and found nothing. I wonder for those of you who have had brain mets, did you have symptoms?

Brain scans are not part of my routine so I need to ask for them specifically. Sometimes I feel as though I am having weird symptoms - stuttering, word-finding, and a little shaky - I wonder if any of these would be symptoms?
