Kathindc, She is pretty. Does she like her costume?
-
Not sure. He’s my daughter’s kitten. I forgot to ask her 🤷🏼♀️.
-
So cute!!
-
awww

We'll have the meds by Thursday at the latest. Which is good because those girls are getting very sick of just being in the safe room. They can bang that door LOUDLY for being so little.
-
Good morning, cat ladies. Yesterday, my cats were being so good. It was wonderful. No hissing, no loud meowing, no knocking stuff in the floor. I went to the post office and came home to a cat fight. Miss Felix is a grumpy old lady and was claws out on Louie. I think he knows she is a grumpy old cat and he moved quickly and was not injured, but he did not fight back. He has been here over 4 years and she still hates him.

We picked up that script for Eddie & Wally, clomipramine which gets smeared inside an ear (FAR better than a pill which would result in me going to the ER). I've already started the boys on in, know it takes a while to build up in their systems but it's a start. The girl kittens are out in most of the house right now for a little bit. So far no screaming or puking which is great.
In these two photos, Eddie is watching Stevie, and she's a bit of a blur because she's *fast*
-
Just darling.
-
-
Beautiful photo of Eddie. Looks like a painting.
-
Petite I wish there could be peace in the household. I think the girl kitties are the most territorial.
I agree FF, that photo of Eddie does look like a painting. Glad all are doing ok so far with the meds Edj3!

And of course everything changed last night. Annie's got a prolapsed anus. We took her to the emergency vet last night and she's with our regular vet this morning. So much kitty wailing on her part and on Stevie's part. That, in turn, riled up both the boy cats who are acting out. And things were going pretty well
-
edj3, OMG. That is awful. I am sorry you and the kitties have to go through that.
It has been peaceful yesterday and so far today.
-
Oh poor Annie. I hope she is back home all happy and healthy very soon.
-
Well our regular vet will keep her over the weekend and try a salve to reduce inflammation and an antibiotic (her WBC is elevated). He said he can put it back in but it pops back out. So she's probably going to have surgery on Monday, poor thing.
-
Oh Edj3 I am sorry. Poor little Annie.
-
Guard cat while in shower. -
Good news! Annie is home, she responded completely to the less drastic treatment so now she's romping around the house with her sister and investigating the other two cats. Wally is still not pleased but Eddie is coming around. This is Annie massively invading Eddie's bed and he's not upset.
And a beauty shot of Stevie:
-
That's great news, Edj3! So glad that Annie avoided having surgery and feeling better. Hope that Wally comes around
They are two gorgeous girls!
-
Great news about Annie and also about Eddies tolerance.
-
Ugh and it's prolapsed again. So she's on the oral meds and we'll take her back in the morning (which is what the vet said to do). Poor girl.
-
Oohnooo Get well soon Annie.
-
edj3: Thank you for the adorable photos! And if your little girl does need surgery please let me know if you need help paying for it! I would be happy to contribute!
-
little Annie cat! Poor thing. Stevie is beyond cute as well
-
edj, Oh NO! But what sweet pictures.
-
Oh Poor little Annie! Hope the surgery goes well if that is the next step.
-
Quick update on Annie. Our vet had sent us home w/ ointment to continue using on her little bum (which we were doing) and also the antibiotics to be used if she had issues again. So we dosed her up yesterday morning and later in the day, the prolapse was back in again. We've continued the antibiotics and the ointment and we'll call the vet this morning. I'm encouraged it went back in again which seems to support our vet's theory that this was caused by a gut infection.
YesIamaDragon, you are too kind. We're in good financial shape so no worries on that front
More to come, in the meantime here she is utterly exhausted after romping around the house all day with her sister.

AAAAAW

edj3, So cute. Hoping all goes well.
For whatever reason Miss Felix is acting very strange. More loud meowing. I heard her carrying on and found her under the bed in the office staring at the wall and meowing at the top of her lungs. Later on she is curled up next to her cat pot sleeping. Then she went "hunting" Louie and cornered him in the master closet. She came out looking proud of herself and Louie was leary to come out. I did not hear any hissing or commotion coming from the closet. I hope no one marked territory on the shoes. All is calm this morning.
-
Aww. Annie is adorable. Hope she stays well.
