Hi, I’m Kim and New Here

I’m gone.

we pretty much ALL walk in dark places here, some of darker than others
understand that some of us have treatable cancer and some of us face a terminal diagosis
We can and do provide tons of support but not like this. I'd suggest you call your therapist because 'giving up' - whatever it even means at this point - is not, as my counsellor would have said, your good & mentally healthy side talking.

I am back with latest findings. None of this was noted in December 18. Except for cysts.
FINDINGS: mammogram
With supplemental imaging, the possible focal asymmetry in the upper
outer quadrant of the RIGHT breast persists. It measures
approximately 11 mm. Additionally, amorphous calcifications are noted
in the upper outer quadrant of the RIGHT breast, not definitively
visualized on 2/12/2014.FINDINGS: ultrasound

And now, instead of doing a biopsy like radiologist said, they're sending me to a nurse practitioner on the 20th??I thought people were sent to doctors? Unless it's my crap state insurance...

I love my nurse practitioner. She always refers out anything she is not sure of and she spends lots of time and listens. She is a great hub for specialists to refer things to.
-
Okay. Phew. It just felt strange cause the last thing I heard was from the radiologists saying they’ll decide on a biopsy once they see the older films/reports. Thanks for the reassurance
-
And to explain my previous meltdown, that morning my “mom” told to go ahead and kill myself followed by burn in hell. Just to give context. I came here hoping for someone to tell me not to give up. That things will get better. I’m sorry for those that I ended up hurting as a result. I’m in a better spot now, but still extremely anxious.
Thanks.
-
Glad you're doing better.
It's REALLY confusing to the rest of us to change your user name.
-
Thank you. My therapist used that term with me this week and it's a lot more positive for me.
Thanks for understanding.
PS. Spoke with the mods just prior to doing so, and they even explained how to go about doing it and thought it was a great name.
