Ibrance blood work

Please check some of the other Ibrance forums. My oncologist does the blood work on rest day 5 or 6. Other people post that they have it done mid-cycle. I think my oncologist had it done mid-cycle on the first and maybe second time. I start cycle 11 tomorrow. Counts have always been low, but not so low that she has taken me off of it. One thing that has changed, is she is dropping the dose from 125 mg to 100 mg, saying that it has been shown that 100 is just as effective. When I asked about this and why start with higher dose, she said a lot has to do with insurance who base things on the clinical trials. With time, they are learning that a lower dose can be just as effective for some people. I started Ibrance Sept 2019. Tumor has shrunk from 2.5 cm to 7 mm (as of April). I'm hoping the August scan shows it has shrunk to oblivion.
