Hallelujah! I finally have a picture of me and DH in my post. Margaret, Maria, CY, and anyone else who has given me their help...I appreciate it! I finally found a place to resize correctly and there it is! I'm almost tired of this picture since I've been trying so long to post it.
Have a great evening,

Margaret, you are just too creative! Give me a little time to bask in getting a picture posted, then I'll think about giving graphics a try!

Shirley, thanks for the compliment. You made my day. I have to tell you a funny story. When my stepdaughter was 15, she thought she witnessed the kidnapping of a young woman. We called the cops and while we were waiting for them to arrive, we realized that the "kidnapping" was actually a boyfriend/girlfriend fight. We met with the cops and he took the police report and he was so confused when he asked us our names, we have the same last name, and then asked if we were sisters and we told him no, and he could not figure out the relationship. Then he figured out we must be mother/daughter and told me I should be in a Dove commercial because I look so young. And that was 15 years ago..I have been blessed with good skin.
Lisa, great pic.

My son started his 1-year round-the-world tour last friday. First stop Peru. From Lima they took a 22-hour bus ride up the Andes Mountains to Cuzco, which is 12,000 feet. They'll stay there until Thursday getting acclimated to the altitude and then hike 2,000 feet a day for 4 days up the Incan trail to Machu Picchu. Here are some pics I received this morning of Cuzco.

I enjoyed this part of his e-mail:
The culture is beautiful, and in the more rural areas, which was the whole 22-hour trip up to Cuzco, the locals live a life of subsistence that makes you reconsider your own. The autopista was speckled with handmade, adobe brick structures that were no more than dirt and wood. An older
gentleman told me a Peruvian proverb that goes: Peru es un burro sentado en un banco de orro. The literal translation is: Peru is a donkey sitting on a seat of gold. It signifies that Peru is sitting on a goldmine of natural
resources and doesn´t understand its value to the world. I think that Peru should just keep on keepin´on and sit on these resources as so many nations (like us) have been squandering theirs. -
