Why are Palliative Treatment and Hospice Care lumped together?

They should each have their own forum because they are two totally different things. Having palliative care does not mean end of life.

    Because people posting (and people everywhere) have a poor understanding of the difference between the two.Also, there can be overlap and one can be a continuum of one status to another
