Cats, cats, cats

Nah you are just a confirmed cat lady like the rest of us. Anytime I look through my digital photos, I realize I have more photos of my cats than my grandkids. Although to be fair, my cats live with me and my grandkids are in California (3 of them) and Tennessee (the newest one). So I can't take spur of the moment photos of them.

Together hahaha
Petite - yes shop kitty is a lovely mouser. She also unfortunately is a hunter of birds and baby rabbits. She is quite proficient.
-
Togethertolearn, I haven't tried that, but I will. Sounds fun.

hahahahahaha
-
I could use a couple cute cat pictures today. Anyone have any to share?
-
I should do a movie next time I do my zoom pilates mat class. The cats love it! They loll on my mat and scratch at it, they try to grab my foot when I am lowering and lifting it, they come over for some face rubbling periodically when I am on my hands and knees. It's hilarious.

Here's Wally, very carefully not sleeping in one of the THREE cat beds in that room.
-
here's one of our special cat - I just got his calming collars in the mail for this year, nuff said 😂
-
Edj3 - Wally sure is handsome!
Together you can just see the personality in that one!

You won’t get MY nose.
-
Elliott looking winsome. He is a handsome boy, but very shy.

Alannah in the sunshine

Thank you, ladies. You have made me smile. Here is Louie enjoying the day.
-
Good morning, cat women. Midnight Louie is at it again.
-
Thanks for all the photos of your lovely beasties.

Good morning, cat lovers. It is a rainy day as Cristobal moves northward through the Gulf. My cats seemed restless, but have settled down for a nap with husband aka Cat Daddy.
-
Pretty soggy here right on the coast. Dogs don’t want to go out to potty. Spookie thinks her feet might melt.
-
My nervous cat, Midnight Louie, is not eating. He hates the rain. Tornado warning a while ago. Looks like it is heading your way, Spookiesmom. Stay safe.

My friend is head of the Alley Cat Project. They work with feral or semi-feral cats to try to get the females spayed. They also take kittens with and without Moms into foster. She has been posting some really cute kitten photos. If they can get them young enough the kittens can be tamed and taught to like people. They still try when they're a little too old, but there's a point when it's too late.
-
just got pounded with lots of rain here in The Villages. We had a tornado warning, too, but it was in the ocala area this time. Not sure yet how much rain we've had so far. We really needed it. Poor dog had to dodge the raindrops to go out.

Wren,
The two kittens I adopted (now age 2) were ferals, and were brought into fpster care w their mom. These two sisters were a bonded pair from the litter. They are still feral-ish... they are intensely interested in smells, and will sniff me all over when I return from being out of the house. They are jumpy at sudden noises, etc... alert and cautious. But SO sweet, affectionate, friendly and sociable. A good fosterer makes an enormous difference!

Good morning, cat lovers. It is still raining, but Louie did eat breakfast. He didn't eat at all yesterday. Miss Felix never misses a meal and will tell cat daddy that she hasn't eaten so sometimes gets fed twice.
My brother has a feral cat rip a hole in the lanai screen and have kittens in a basket on his back porch. She disappeared, leaving the kittens. My brother and his wife bottle fed them. They kept 2 and found homes for the others. Of the 2, 1 is very friendly and the other only likes my brother. She will stay hidden under furniture. They are pretty old now. I am guessing close to 10 years.

Good morning from soggy central Florida. We had over 3.5 inches of rain last night! But we needed it so I certainly won't complain. It's raining again today - a good day to curl up with the cat or dog, a good book, and a cup of tea. Or maybe a nap@
Snickers has settled down finally and isn't bullying the dog much anymore. They even go nose to nose and she doesn't hit Chloe. But every once in a while, she slaps Chloe, just to show her who's the boss. We thnk Snickers is about 17 or 18, and she does seem to be slowing down.
-
This close and no hissing Amazing!! Think we’ve had about 4” of rain, I’m over this
-
It was pretty humid and muggy up until yesterday. The girls dozed during the day and thendecided that when Mommy and Daddy were trying to sleep it was playtime.
-
Good morning, cat ladies. The sun came out. It is hot and muggy. Louie is a happy cat. He hates rain.
