Abdominal Pain and Liver Mets

Hi,
My mom who was diagnosed with de novo MBC with bone mets 1 year ago is now having some right sided abdominal/flank pain. It started about 2 weeks ago and worsens throughout the day. One of her liver enzymes (ALT) also increased to 37.
She's been NED since August 2019 and on Arimidex and Kisqali. Her most recent PET scan was 6 weeks ago. Her CA15-3 is 23.
We are hoping its gallstones since she has gallstones though she never had any symptoms from them. She says the pain subsided 3 days ago but we can't help but worry about the possibility of liver mets. Plus it's really difficult for her to go to the hospital with the coronavirus epidemic.

Bydand, she may just have an encapsulated liver. In other words, it may just be swollen. They can give her steroids for that. Goes away in a couple of days.

Thanks pajim! What could have caused her liver to become swollen? She never had any liver mets.
